Attractions Introduction

Yellow River Stone Forest National Geopark

Located in Longwan Village, Zhongquan Township, Jingtai County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, this national AAAA-level scenic area and national geopark covers about 50 square kilometers and is approximately 150 km from downtown Lanzhou. The core landscape consists of sandstone stone forest clusters formed millions of years ago through crustal movement and wind erosion. The area features 80-200-meter-high peak clusters, stone pillars, and the 9-kilometer-long Yinmagou Grand Canyon, as well as diverse landforms including the meandering Yellow River, Gobi desert, and oasis. Visitors can take a donkey cart ride through Yinmagou Grand Canyon, with towering stone pillars of fantastic shapes lining both sides, or experience the ancient sheepskin raft drifting on the Yellow River, gaining insight into a thousand-year-old river transport culture. Notably, the park has served as a filming location for several movies and TV series, including The Myth and Great Dunhuang.

Shuimo Danxia Tourist Scenic Area

Located in Xinghua Village, Shuping Town, Yongdeng County, Lanzhou City, this is the closest Danxia landform cluster to an urban center in China, only 30 km from Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport. The scenic area covers a total planned area of 400 square kilometers, with a core area of 25 square kilometers open to visitors. It primarily features red mountain bay landforms, along with Danxia cliffs, isolated peaks, narrow canyons, and a series of other spectacular geological features. The area features seven viewing platforms, including Silk Road Sunrise, Silk Road Eagle, Flying Over the Desert, Nine-Color Danqing, Danxiu Yingtian, Cuifeng Lantian, and Danding Lansheng, along with a 2,550-meter-long Danxia plank road. Among these, Nine-Color Danqing is the most representative viewing platform, showcasing about 30 different minerals with vibrant colors like a magnificent painting. Danding Lansheng, the highest platform, offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the entire scenic area.

After the tour, your private car will take you back to your hotel in downtown Lanzhou. Service hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, total service duration approximately 10 hours.

We provide complimentary pick-up and drop-off services for clients staying in Chengguan District, Qilihe District, Anning District, and Xigu District of Lanzhou. II. Timing Arrangements

The standard departure time is around 8:00 AM, and the tour typically concludes around 6:00 PM with a return to your hotel. However, your preferences are our priority – departure times can be adjusted flexibly. Please contact our customer service after booking to arrange a time that best suits you. The Yellow River Stone Forest is about 2.5 hours' drive from Lanzhou, so we recommend departing on time to allow sufficient time for sightseeing. During peak holiday periods, we recommend an earlier departure to avoid crowds and enjoy a more relaxed experience.

III. Service Duration Notice
