The itinerary was well-planned, and Mr. Liu was very enthusiastic, sharing many interesting anecdotes. It was very crowded during the May Day holiday, but the scenery in the border town was exceptionally beautiful. Furong Town is small, mainly a man-made scenic area with entrance fees. Much of the scenery is artificial and quite ordinary; good spots require a purchase to enter. Dining inside is very expensive, but restaurants outside tend to overcharge, so make sure you pay exactly how much you order to avoid being overcharged.
