Our tour leader, Qian, was very interesting, introducing a lot about Okinawa's history and culture in a humorous way. All the itineraries were on time, and public transportation outside Naha is practically nonexistent, making a day trip a perfect choice. The itinerary was well-planned and excellent! š The day of our trip coincided with a Japanese holiday, and it was my first time being surprised by how crowded the Churaumi Aquarium was š
Fortunately, Qian had informed us of the tour order on the bus beforehand, saving us a lot of time.ā

A fantastic family-friendly spot! The biggest highlight is seeing giant whale sharks and manta rays swimming right in front of you. Many travelers consider this a must-see in Okinawa, and the most worthwhile place to take photos and stop to admire the scenery. Besides large fish, you can also see tropical fish, jellyfish, corals, and deep-sea creatures. It's a novel experience for animal-loving children, allowing them to learn about marine life while having fun. The aquarium is located within the Ocean Expo Park, and nearby are also a turtle exhibit, dolphin-related facilities, and Emerald Beach, making it a great option for a half-day to full-day trip. Beware of crowds: On holidays and during peak hours, the area in front of the large tank can be very crowded, and young children may not be able to see clearly.
Transportation time: From Naha, it usually takes about 2-2.5 hours by car, so it's best to plan a full-day trip to the north.
Lots of walking outdoors: Strollers are allowed inside the aquarium, but the entire Ocean Expo Park is quite large, and trying to see everything can be tiring.ā

I absolutely loved everything! Everything was on time and on route. The guide was wonderful, she explained everything in every language, communicated with everyone, took her time, and answered questions! Thank you so much ššš¼ The aquarium was amazing! The tour was worth the money, I didn't regret it at all! I'll definitely come back again! Okinawa to the heart of the world ā¤ļøā

Great trip, packed with locations, yes, the beach and cape Manzamo are only 30 minutes each, but that honestly enough to enjoy the scenery, take pictures and eat/drink/smoke. Time at the aquarium was 3,5 hours, also more than enough to check-out the park, fishes, and even visit the botanical gardens (highly recommend). Our guide was really nice and helpful, she texted the exact time stamps via whatsapp chat every time we stopped and sent exact locations of where the bus was parked ā very convenient! She also ran quickly to buy us tickets at the cape and the aquarium, they were included into the tourās price, which was a nice bonus. The last stop was American village, 1 hour is definitely not enough to visit all the shops and restaurant there, so be ready to leave the bus entirely and get back to Naha by city bus or taxi. Overall, a very pleasant experience, packed with good vibes. The bus itself was brand-new and the driver very friendly and careful šš»ā

We went snowdiving, and the instructor kindly explained everything. We also added GoPro recording on the spot (highly recommended!!). They show Korean YouTube videos for basic explanations. I was worried because the instructor only spoke English and Japanese, but surprisingly, there were no communication issues. Since it was our first time, they took extra care of us, so we were able to enjoy a safe and fun dive!ī„
