▲ GENERAL ITINERARY FROM HANOI - HALONG CRUISING - SURPRISE CAVE - TITOV - KAYAKING - HALONG - HANOI You start from Hanoi with pickup in Hanoi Old Quarter/meeting point then depart for Halong Bay. You get on cruises, have lunch and start cruising further to the bay to discover the World Heritage. You visit Surprise cave, swim or hike in Titov island and attend optional activities of kayaking/bamboo boat rowing in Luon cave. You get back to the cruise to enjoy the Afternoon Tea or live music performance (depending on cruises you choose) before getting back to the shore. You get on bus to Hanoi, on the way, bus stops for 1 time for toilet/drinks/shopping. You are dropped off near/at hotel. Trip ends.
▲ From 8.00 am - 8.45 am, tour guide picks you up at hotel for departure. The bus may be at the front of hotel or you need to have a short walk to the bus because there are a lot of streets banning bus to enter. Pick-up time is flexible due to rush hour, after picking you up, the bus will go to other hotels to pick up other groups then it departs for the tour. If you come to meeeting point, be ready by 8.00 am at 20 Hang Muoi street. The tour guide are there to begin the trip. You go by standard bus of big group of 33 people or small group of 19 people depending on your bus option. It takes you 3 hours to Tuan Chau Island. On the way, driver stops 2 times (1st time of 10 minutes and 2nd time of 25 minutes for a toilet break/drinks/shopping.
▲ About 12.00 Bus stops at private pier where the cruises anchor. You get on cruises to start the amazing journey to discover the Wonder of the World. Note: You can book the option to start from Tuan Chau island, Halong City. You will go to the Pier by yourself and be ready at the meeting point by 12.00 to meet the tour guide for boarding. We will contact and give you clear guidance to get on the cruises easily. After the boat finishes cruising, you will go back to your hotel in Halong by yourself.
▲ Buffet lunch is ready for you. There are a lot of dishes from seafood to the poultries for you to choose. If you are a vegetarian, do not worry, we have vegetarian dishes for you. It includes salad, beans, tofu, rice, noodle, cakes...all of the food are carefully selected to make sure that they are fresh and safe for your trip. If you are an Indian eater, we can provide you extra menu with Indian food (with extra fee), so you can enjoy both buffet dishes and extra indian menu. Please remember that drinks are not included. You will pay for your drinks during the trip.
▲ You will visit Surprising cave. This is the biggest cave in Halong Bay, this is a dry cave so you can wear your shoes comfortably to visit. Tour guide will go with you to guide you the way in and out. There are thousands of stalagmites and stalagtiles with different shapes in the caves. Note: You may visit Surprise cave first or after Titov island. It depends on weather and captain's decision basing on your safety.
▲ The next attraction is Titop Island, there, you can swim on the beach or trek up to the top of mountain to have the great full view of Halong Bay from above. You may spend 45 minutes in this island. Remember that you take the personal belongings with you. You should not leave your belongings on the cruises because there are many travelers on the cruises.
▲ The exciting activity you should not miss is kayaking. As the cruises stop, you go to a floating house where you register to go kayaking. This lasts for 30 - 40 minutes, you paddle by yourself with 2 people/1 kayak. Another activity you can choose is easy sitting on a bamboo boat rowed by the locals. This short journey lasts for 15 minutes.
▲ About 16.00, Afternoon Tea is open, you get some drinks free with some fresh fruits or cakes before sunset. This time is so relaxing for you and your family/friends to enjoy the afternoon in the bay.
▲ (Optional) Only in Sonata Cruises, there is a live traditional music performance. The lady/man artists perform for you to entertain together with Afternoon Tea with a free coctail/person. This is a great time to relax on a luxury boat. Other cruises only have afternoon tea.
▲ As the cruises stop at habor in Tuan Chau, crew members say goodbye to you and hope to see you again in the future. Note: If you book option to start the tour from Tuan Chau island, you will go back to your hotel in Tuan Chau/Halong by yourself. We say goodbye to you here.
▲ About 18.00, bus waits for you at the habor to take you back to Hanoi. On the way, you have a short break of 15 minutes (toilet/drinks/light dinner). Bus drops you off near or at your hotels depending on street (banning bus or not). You need to walk to your hotel if the streets banning bus to enter and at weekend evening. Trip ends.
