▲ The Yulong Snow Mountain tour is a self-guided tour without a tour guide service or guide. The driver will arrange the day's itinerary based on the cable car schedule. The driver will not accompany you on the cable car or enter Blue Moon Valley but will provide guidance via WeChat. After arrangements are made, guests will explore on their own.

▲ Refund and modification policy in case of temporary cableway suspension due to force majeure such as strong winds on the travel day: refund of cableway fee 120/person for those who have entered the mountain; if medium or small cableway tickets are available, change to medium or small cableway with a refund of 80/person for the price difference.

It is renowned worldwide for its majestic snow-capped mountains, azure jade-like lakes, and magnificent gorge views. The valley gets its name from its deep blue waters and crescent-shaped mountain formation. It is said to be the prototype of the Blue Moon Valley described in James Hilton's novel "Lost Horizon." Blue Moon Valley consists of four scenic lakes: Jade Liquid Lake, Mirror Pool Lake, Blue Moon Lake, and Listening to Waves Lake. Often referred to as the "Little Jiuzhaigou," it resembles a blue moon embedded at the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain and has become a popular social media hotspot. Blue Moon Valley is also known as "White Water River."

▲ Yulong Snow Mountain Glacier Park is located 32 km north of Lijiang city in Yunnan, representing a typical example of modern glaciers on Yulong Snow Mountain. Take the cable car (from 3,356 m to 4,506 m) for about 20 minutes to reach the northeast slope of Shanzidou, the main peak of Yulong Snow Mountain. Upon exiting the cable car station, you'll arrive at the glacier park. From there, it's about a 30-minute walk along the boardwalk to reach the popular 4,680 m stone monument photo spot.

The golden sunrise viewing location is not specified, and visibility depends on weather conditions such as clouds or rain, subject to the actual weather on the day. Departure for sunrise viewing is around 5:30 am, with the exact departure time to be confirmed by the driver. 2. Approximate return time: Depending on factors like crowd flow, weather, transportation, and other unforeseen circumstances, the return time is around 3:00 pm during the off-peak season and around 5:00 pm during the peak season. On the way to the snow mountain by vehicle, you will stop at an oxygen supply store to collect the provided snow mountain essentials: oxygen canister, cold-proof clothing (to be returned after the tour), and mineral water. Store staff will guide you on safety precautions for visiting the snow mountain and recommend oxygen supplies. Travelers may purchase additional personal items as needed—please make rational choices. 2. On the way to the tourist center, you will pass by the Dongba Culture Art Museum, where attraction staff will introduce the Dongba culture of the snow mountain and its sacred origins. There will be a blessing activity during this time—please avoid superstitious practices!!! 3. For safety reasons, pregnant women, individuals with hypertension, heart disease, respiratory or lung diseases, asthma, or other chronic conditions, as well as infants under 1 year old and seniors aged 70 or above, are advised against traveling on this route.
