Xishuangbanna Botanical Garden+Dai Garden Group Day Tour:Tropical Flora Meets Dai Folklore
The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the largest botanical garden in China in terms of area, with the richest collection of plant species and the most plant-specific gardens. It is a veritable kingdom of plants. The garden brings together numerous rare tropical plants. It is not only an important base for scientific researchers to conduct plant research and conservation but also an ideal place for tourists to appreciate tropical plant landscapes and learn about plant knowledge. Strolling through the botanical garden, it feels like entering a colorful plant world, leaving visitors reluctant to leave.
The Dai Garden is a concentrated showcase of Dai ethnic culture in Xishuangbanna, composed of several well-preserved natural Dai villages. It fully retains traditional Dai culture, including architectural styles, religious beliefs, and customs. You can participate in the lively Water-Splashing Festival, sing and dance together with the Dai people, and feel the joyful atmosphere of the festival. You can also visit Dai Buddhist temples to learn about Dai religious culture, taste various characteristic Dai cuisines, and experience the strong Dai lifestyle.

7:50 Gather and Depart
You need to gather and depart from the Songkran Square or Gaozhuang in Jinghong City on your own before 7:50. Please be sure to arrive on time, as any additional costs incurred due to delays affecting the itinerary will be borne by you!

Then,you will take a bus for about 1 hour to arrive at The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden. The tour here lasts approximately 2 hour and 30 minutes,
Afterwards, you will take a bus ride of about 1 hour to Xishuangbanna Dai Garden for a visit lasting approximately 3 hours.
Upon completion of the itinerary, you will take a 40-minute bus ride back to the original meeting point, where the group will automatically disband.
