Meet your guide at Wenshu Monastery in the morning to start your tour. As Chengdu's best-preserved Qing-dynasty Buddhist temple, it boasts towering ancient trees and a tranquil vibe that instantly calms the mind. Grab a meal at your own expense either inside the monastery or nearby.
Next, head to Kuanzhai Alleys—a Qing-dynasty block consisting of Kuan Alley, Zhai Alley and Jing Alley. It perfectly blends old Chengdu courtyard culture with modern leisure, ideal for strolling, snapping photos and exploring boutique shops.
Then, visit Chengdu People's Park, the heart of local leisure life. We'll stop at the renowned Heming Teahouse, where a complimentary cup of tea lets you relax on bamboo chairs and soak up Chengdu's laid-back rhythm.
Finish your journey at Qingyang Taoist Temple, hailed as the "top Taoist temple in western Sichuan". This thousand-year-old site oozes Taoist heritage and serenity. Wander freely to see iconic spots like the Bagua Pavilion and Sanqing Hall, and admire the solemn Taoist statues.
The tour ends with disbandment at Qingyang Taoist Temple. We recommend you catch a Sichuan opera show at your own expense afterward.
