
▲ Qingyuan Mountain is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, renowned as the "Sacred Land of Taoism and Penglai of the Min Sea." Besides the Laojun Rock, there is also Nantai Rock, the highest point of Qingyuan Mountain, offering a 360° panoramic view of Quanzhou cityscape and the Jinjiang River estuary. Tianhu is an artificial lake at the mountain's summit, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful scenery. Qingyuan Cave is one of the "Ten Great Grotto-Heavens" in Taoism, traditionally believed to be the site where Laozi refined his elixir.

▲ Laojun Rock, the core attraction of Qingyuan Mountain, features a seated statue of Laozi that is a nationally protected cultural relic and an artistic treasure among Chinese Taoist stone carvings. According to records, this statue was crafted by artisans who made minimal modifications to a massive natural boulder resembling an elderly man.

▲ Kaiyuan Temple is a significant cultural relic along China's southeastern coast and one of the larger Buddhist temples in Fujian Province. The temple's East and West Pagodas are iconic landmarks of Quanzhou - the East Pagoda named Zhenguo Pagoda and the West Pagoda called Renshou Pagoda, both exquisitely constructed during the Song Dynasty. Additionally, the temple features notable attractions such as the Master Hongyi Memorial Hall and the Sweet Dew Ordination Altar.
