Brasserie Astoria is located in Singapore's Middle Road historic district (Address: 80 Middle Road, Singapore 188966), formerly the Astoria Hotel, completed in 1928 – a prime example of Art Deco architecture in Singapore. The restaurant perfectly preserves the original black and white checkered marble floor, brass revolving doors, and peacock green velvet curtains. The walls are adorned with photos from the 1920s featuring Southeast Asian merchants and European shipping magnates, and each dining table is set with custom silver candlesticks from the British colonial era, as if frozen in the Golden Age of "The Great Gatsby."
