Not the first time staying here, and will go back again. Location is perfect, all the necessities can be found within a walking distance. Amenities: All the important amenities are available except for hand towels and you have to beg for towels and pretty much the replenishment of amenities after the room is cleaned, far different from the last time when it was still Belmont. First room we were given had a very mouldy smell and which gave the kids and I instant headaches. They eventually changed it after about 4 hours of waiting and intervention by Trip.com. This really put a damper on things. Breakfast: Great, the variety is good, but it’s the same pretty much everyday. The beach: Within 5 minutes walk, but don’t you dare lose of misplace the beach pass paper tag, they’re very uptight about it. The beach if not the best beach, very rocky which makes swimming pretty uncomfortable. However, the pool area is awesome and there are sun loungers all around and that makes up for the unpleasant beach. They provide swimming towels too! I must say it has developed a lot since the last time I was here and I can only hope they will keep improving.

Facilities: The hotel is well-equipped. 1. The room furnishings are a bit old, especially the wooden furniture. 2. The room and balcony are quite spacious; we stayed in a premium room. 3. There are three swimming pools. The one near the beach is open until 12:00 PM. 4. Both pool bars at the hotel have a happy hour for drinks (buy one get one free) from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. 5. The breakfast selection is limited (with a focus on Korean and Filipino dishes). Breakfast hours are 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM on the second floor, and 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM near the beach. 6. Check-out time is 11:00 AM (which is quite early). 7. If you arrive early, you can check in ahead of time if a room is available. Otherwise, you can pick up your room key at 3:00 PM with your ticket. 8. It's best to pay the hotel deposit in cash (4000p). If you use a credit card, the refund might take a long time to process after check-out.

Good hotel. we had the misfortune of staying on the same floor with a group of Chinese tourists, they staeted shouting at 7 in the morning in the corridor. The staff intervened promptly. Breakfast is decent forea few days trip, the bacon seems cooked in batches and reheated when needed, so it's too dry and not how it should be. The swimming pool is decent, you get sunshine between 10 am and 2 pm, then there is the shades of the building.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort and truly appreciate the exceptional service provided by the staff. The front desk team was incredibly helpful—when my husband thought he had dropped his wallet in the car during our transit from the pier, they went above and beyond by checking the CCTV to help us track the car plate number. With their help, we discovered that the wallet was not left in the van. Eventually, we realized it had been dropped in a Grab car during our journey from Cebu City to Pier 1 Cebu, and we were able to successfully recover it. We are very grateful for their effort and support throughout the process. From the first day we checked in, the front desk staff noticed that my son was not feeling well. They kindly informed us that the resort has a nurse available and encouraged us to reach out if needed. On the third day, my 4-year-old son’s diarrhea became more serious, and the staff once again showed genuine care and concern. They arranged for a nurse to check on him, who provided helpful advice and referred us to a clinic doctor the next morning. This gave us great peace of mind as parents. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the pool—it was excellent. Overall, the warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the resort, the purple yam porridge is very nice. All the staff were very kind, helpful, friendly, and warm. We would definitely come back again if we travel to Bohol. One small suggestion would be to add a gym room for guests, which would make the facilities even more complete. This resort is over ratedd. the only thing only good thing is the location on the beach.. Boked a sea viw room the amount of money they charge and the value for your money is 2 out of 5. needs renovattion Road leading to the hotel is all broken rooms are outdatwd.including bedding and bathroom only one resturant and bar. need more F&B outlet. no entertapinment on a friday nighr the place was very quiet wven though they sapid its sold out breakfast not many choices compare to other resorts of the same value. need to train there staff in resturant. no service

This is one gem in the heart of Panglao away from hustle and bustle if you want a quiet holiday. Family friendly that has everything you need. Good variety buffet breakfast and bar cocktail in the swimming pool. Walk further at the back and you’ll be at the beach but the beach seems polluted because of so many boats docked there and since it is the pick up point for island hopping. Be careful walking in the water as the area is sea urchins nest. Locals collect them in the afternoon and sell to passers by. Very nice for sunset photo shoots. The rooms of the hotel is descent in terms of size and very clean. Bathroom is well supplied and even an outdoor rubber slippers are provided. Swimming pool is regularly cleaned and heated. Reception area is very cozy and can be humid since this is not an airconditioned room. Staff are warm and very accommodating from the reception to front man and in buffet area. You can choose Tuktuk or Grab for transportation to go to Alona beach which is the heart of Bohol were you can shop, dine, drink and stroll. This is kinda little Boracay.

My friends and I had such a great time at Solea Mactan Resort! The pools were fun, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole resort had a relaxing and enjoyable vibe. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even better. Perfect place for a barkada getaway and unforgettable memories in Cebu!

Definitely one of the better hotel/resorts that I've encountered during my travels in the Philippines. The hotel itself is located in a beautifully secluded lot that's surrounded by vegetation & conveniently placed a stones throw away from the main commercial centre which hosts a supermarket & even a DIY shop. The rooms are very comfortable, clean & all come with a balcony & modern AC as standard. But the best part is the large pool which lights up at night & is by the restaurant which serves good coffee, pizza & an excellent Thai curry. If you have transport then i would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was decent value for money. But lots of small giggles...our room was right kn top of the area that served bfast. Trolleys bringing food in made a lot of noise from 5 am! Towels were not freely available! Choice of food for vegetarians is limited.

I had a recent overnight stay at Fili Hotel Cebu with my wife and overall it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and good facilities. Service was polite and efficient, though not particularly standout. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and good presentation, but the flavors were fairly average and leaned towards the safe side. Overall, a solid and comfortable stay, though it falls a bit short of being truly memorable.
