Xialu Temple is located in the Shigatse region of Tibet, about 30 kilometers from Shigatse, in the mountain pass on the side of the road from Shigatse to Jiangyan. According to the history of the temple, Xialu Temple was built in 1087 AD, equivalent to the Song Dynasty Zhezong Yuanyou two years. The founder of the temple is named Jie Zunjia Rao Yanni. By 1320, equivalent to the Yuan Dynasty, when Renzong Yanyou was seven years old, Xialu Temple welcomed Master Button to preside over the temple, and since then Xialu was established in Tibetan Buddhist temple. By 1333 Yuan Huizong, Master Button rebuilt the monastery.
