竹林禅院位于大叻城区以南约7公里，修建在山坡上，格局与风格与国内寺庙异曲同工。竹林禅院是一座园林式寺庙，花园中百花齐放，草木也精心修剪过。这里有许多禅宗故事的浮雕，值得参观。禅院非常宁静，有大量植被，挂在房角的风铃遇风会发出空灵的声音。可以乘坐索道登顶，从山顶俯瞰山下，大叻全景一览无遗。需要注意，进入禅院着装需要注意，肩部以及膝盖以下不能裸露，进屋需脱鞋。
