TTrevor TuckerAlthough not so much these days, I have traveled a lot for work and it's nice to have a place to call home when you're on the road. I'm not a picky person and I really do not have specifications for what I look for when it comes to a hotel but the one thing that I do desire is a feeling of home and safety. The location was perfect and I was in the area that I was familiar with, but even if I wasn't enough familiar place, I still felt safe. The staff was very friendly and it was easy to navigate the building. Honestly loved my room, it had everything I needed and helped to become my temporary office apartment. The bed was incredible, perfect for someone who's been walking and traveling since 4:00 in the morning. The lounge chair in my room was also the most comfiest one I've ever been in and I ended up using that at the desk. They gave you a very nice office desk chair but I'm a very big person and I was afraid of breaking it, so it was a very pleasant surprise to have that alternative option. The gentleman at the front desk gave me a lot of information and suggestions for food based on restaurants in the area, they also gave me a discount coupon for a restaurant chain that I really love! It was honestly a very pleasant experience and I only wish I could have stayed longer, I definitely will go back to that location in the future when I'm working in the area. It was perfect for me and I would honestly recommend others to stay there if you're looking for a place for the night or an extended stay!

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel was great. It was right on the beach. However, once settling into the room we noticed several bugs we had to kill. The bathroom was not cleaned that well, as there was hair in the bathtub, sink and toilet. When checking in, I was not aware of a ”destination fee” that was an extra $80. That was not listed anywhere on the travel confirmation email nor in my digital receipt from the hotel. We were a little disappointed about these factors, but overall we still had a good trip. Just spent more than expected and wished for cleaner facilities.

The public areas and room spaces are designed to be spacious and stylish. The breakfast set menu is exquisite and delicious, a big thumbs up! 👍🏻 Parking is convenient.

GGuest UserThe a/c in the room was not working, and I had to get ready for an event. It was in the 80's that day and room located on top floor so very hot. Maintenance did come and fix, but it took quite some time for it to kick in and cool the room down. That night when I got back, I turned the tv on. Apparently remote batteries died, and I could not change channel or turn tv back off. Had to call maintenance again around midnight. They had to go behind tv to turn it off (tv was hung on wall and I was not able to reach the plug to do it myself). There is NO water pressure; my daughter did not wash her hair for the 2 nights we were there because it would have taken forever. I also rented a second room for my son and his wife; they arrived from out of state to also get ready for an event, and their room had no outlets that worked. They too had to call maintenance so they could get ready. They were late for the event. The hotel is not located in the downtown location, so do not expect to walk anywhere except the ****** which is across the street. Very overpriced.

GGuest UserI absolutely love this hotel! We found it last year and don’t plan on staying anywhere else when we visit Rhode Island. The room size is perfect for me and my husband, and everything is always very clean. The complimentary breakfast offers a great variety of options. The hotel is set back from the main road, so it’s nice and quiet with no traffic noise. It’s also conveniently located near plenty of stores and restaurants, and just a short drive from beaches and parks.

GGuest UserA friend and I stayed at the Newport Harbor and Marina Hotel.
We choose a room overlooking the water and marina.
What a beautiful view. Really helped with the Winter Blues.
The location is awesome, so close to tons of shops, restaurants, and easy walking.
The pool was so refreshing.
Wish the restaurant and lounge was open for dinner, but hopefully that will change in the near future.
All in all, would definitely go here again.

AAnonymous UserThe room is spacious and comfortable, parking is convenient, and the breakfast is simple. Drinking hot and cold water, coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, and all questions are answered. There are several restaurants next to the hotel. It is a bit far from the main attractions in Newport, and you need to drive there. The corridors are a bit musty.

GGuest UserMy family loves this hotel for its cleanliness, spaciousness and serene environment. Staff were approachable and helpful, for examples, the Managers and their staff like Linden. The breakfast was fabulous. Within walking distance were the Shaws supermarket, CVS and bus stops. Will book this hotel if we are back in Newport.

GGuest UserThe room was somewhat clean, but the bathroom had 2 dead bugs. The staff at the lobby was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, but it got crowded around 8-8 30am so the waiting line for the toaster was pretty long.
It was quiet at night, and since the facility is pretty new, it was quite clean overall.
