Tokyo Disneysea
Tokyo DisneySea is a fantasy theme park in Tokyo Disney Resort that is unique to Japan. Inspired by the myths and legends of the sea, Tokyo DisneySea is made up of seven themed ports of call: Mediterranean Harbor, Mysterious Island, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery and American Waterfront.
Tokyo DisneySea is Disney’s best theme park anywhere in the world. It’s rare for me to make an unqualified statement when calling something the best, but this park is so good that I’m confident in that statement without any sort of hedging my bets.
Everyone loves Disney. Japanese people also love Disney. In fact, they love it so much they have two Disney theme parks right next to each other; DisneySea and Disneyland. Both are just a half hour train ride from Tokyo
Getting there and around
From Maihama Station, take the Disney Resort Monorail to Tokyo Disney Sea Station (10 minutes, 260 yen). Alternatively, you can walk there in about 20 minutes.

Tokyo DisneySea is a theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort located in Urayasu, Chiba Peefecture, Japan.
There are currently seven themed lands. The entrance to the Park is Mediterranean Harbor. The other six theme are American Waterfront, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast and Mysterious Island.
Park operating hours is from 9am to 9pm. But better to check the timing again in case there are any changes. Need to buy tickets online prior going there. Be there early before the opening hours as the queue already started before opening.
Parades and fireworks was canceled due to bad weather. So disappointing. Hope to go again!

Unique Tokyo DisneySea
#tokyotrip
DisneySea is a more laid-back version of Disneyland, but equally enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages.
It is an ocean-themed amusement park that centers its motifs on “Navigating the seas of adventure and imagination”.
It doesn’t have as many rides compared to Disneyland and its attractions are based on real events of history and romantic atmosphere.
DisneySea is huge, just walking around the whole park will take at least half a day.
So plan your route and minimize walking by using the Electric Railway and Transit Steamer.
I enjoyed the main rides such as Soaring, Tower of Terror and Finding Nemo.
As for meals, I survived on their yummy Disney snacks that were more affordable and didn't break the bank.
The park is really beautiful, especially the scenery near the sea/ lighthouse.
Probably just enjoying the beautiful scenery and taking happy photos will already be worth it.
Tokyo DisneySea
I am a very big fan of Disney, so when I had a chance to go to Tokyo DisneySea, I was so excited! DisneySea did not disappoint me. The park was big enough for a day of exploring. Lots of fun rides. The park was full of laughter. The lunch was also amazing, I had an very authentic Japanese tempura rice set. The portion was very big. Highly recommend you go to Tokyo DisneySea!

TOKYO DISNEYSEA
Tokyo Disneyland during summertime. Tokyo DisneySea was an amazing experience. Tokyo DisneySea is a gorgeous park! Spend the whole day there since the opening and stayed to watch the night show with fireworks. Toy Story Mania and Soaring: Fantastic Flight are both high wait time attractions. It is best to go for either one first and it was great!!! It was worth every minute of the wait. The rides and food were all fantastic. Will plan another trip there soon again!

This is Disneysea. I Highly recommend to go this place. Being the only one in the world, the view at this place is amazing. Even after a heavy downpour, everything looks stunning and out of the ordinary. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Even guided us to the place for the closing fireworks.
Tokyo DisneySea Where Adventure and Imagination Set Sail

As a unique and extraordinary theme park, DisneySea takes visitors on a maritime journey through a world of imagination, exploration, and boundless excitement. With its captivating attractions, immersive storytelling, and awe-inspiring attention to detail, DisneySea stands as a testament to the power of imagination and the enduring legacy of Disney.
From the moment visitors step foot into DisneySea, they are transported to a world of adventure and enchantment. The park's architectural beauty, with its stunning waterfront views and elaborate facades, creates an atmosphere of awe and grandeur. The iconic Mount Prometheus at the center of Mysterious Island stands as a testament to the park's creative vision, while the bustling Mediterranean Harbor welcomes guests with its charming European charm.
DisneySea's attractions are a testament to the park's commitment to storytelling and immersive experiences. From high-speed thrills like "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and "Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull" to whimsical rides like "The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure" and "Toy Story Mania!," each attraction transports visitors to a different world, evoking a sense of wonder and excitement.
The attention to detail in DisneySea is unparalleled, with each themed area meticulously designed to capture the essence of its inspiration. From the intricate tile work and vibrant colors of Arabian Coast to the lush vegetation and ancient ruins of Lost River Delta, every element contributes to the park's immersive storytelling. 🇯🇵Tokyo | BEST THEME PARK in Asia
Tokyo DisneySea is the best theme park that I’ve ever been to in Asia.
Although it was built more than 20 years ago. The attractions inside look really new and clean. The buildings are in a romantic medieval vibe, which are ideal for photos. There are numerous choices and they are fun, immersive and interactive.
As there are many tourists and you might need to wait up to two hours for a ride, I would recommend purchasing a premium pass for the popular ones.
Price per Person - JPY 8,400
Getting There - Transfer to Disney Resort Line from JR Maihama Station and get off at the Tokyo DisneySea Station.

DisneySea Tokyo is awesome. Recommend to go. It’s a nice place for adults and also for kids.
Tokyo DisneySea
Everyone loves Disney. Japanese people also love Disney. In fact, they love it so much they have two Disney theme parks right next to each other; DisneySea and Disneyland.More geared to adults, DisneySea is a magical place where you can get the thrill of classic rides such as Tower of Terror and Journey to the Centre of the Earth but also have your picture taken with Donald Duck and co. To top it all is the fascinating cultural insight into Japan’s obsession with all things cute and childlike – seriously, it’s a very cool thing to witness.
The first thing you’ll probably notice is how groups of people have gone to a lot of effort to coordinate their outfits and matching accessories around one character or movie. Not to mention, if you go in rainy season or are just unlucky, irresistibly cute rain ponchos with mouse ears appear out of nowhere. That’s magic.
Fun Rides, Tasty Food and Beautiful views
Back at DisneySea after a long time and it doesn't disappoint. Upon entering the park, you get surrounded by the magic of disney. It makes you feel young and energetic just being here. The rides are catered for both young kids, teens and adults. Love the Indiana Jone, Raging Spirits and Aquatopia rides. For a start, you might want to take the Electric Railway to get a good look at the whole park.
The food here taste as good as it looks, unlike some other theme park. So Cuteeeee!!! Popsicle is refreshing and the 'Minnie' set meal is tasty too. #themepark #foodie #celebratewithtrip #youngagain #travelholic #travel
A Disney more suited for teens and up
After my first introduction to Disneyland in Hong Kong, I wasn't expecting much as majority of the rides are catered to younger audiences/children. But was pleasantly surprised went I came to DisneySea in Japan. There were rides not just for kids but us too!! The rides were really fun especially Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Indiana Jones and Raging Spirits 💕
Fair warning though the queues can be really long (a few hours) if you didn't get the fast pass, however this can only be bought for a few indicated rides.😬 #themepark #disneysea #disney #finally
Amazing Experience in Tokyo DisneySea
Address - Tokyo DisneySea, Urayasu, Chiba, Japan
Highlights - We had an amazing experience for this whole day tour in Tokyo DisneySea. Numerous people argue to visit either Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea but I would recommend the latter due to the magical experience here. The park opens from 9AM to 9PM but I would recommend going here around 3PM for less people.

The one and only DisneySea in the World
Welcome to Tokyo DisneySea!
This fantasy theme park in Tokyo Disney Resort is unique to Japan! It is one of my most recommended tours and activities in this country. Though I didn't get very good photos, I would say this was the best Disney park yet.
Disney Resort parks are right around the bay from Tokyo, easily accessible from Tokyo Station and other major stations. The parks are also directly accessible from the airport by bus. Tokyo Disneyland, DisneySea, and Ikspiari are located just a few minutes’ walk from JR Maihama Station on the Keiyo Line. The Keiyo Line's starting point is Tokyo Station. You can also access the parks directly from Tokyo Station by bus.
You should go there early when it opens at 9, so you can enjoy most of the entertainment they have. You have to wait in line for every ride. It closes at 9pm.
Our activities:
1. Tower of Terror
Navigate the tower and feel the creepy ambience surrounding the area. Don't get too relaxed while inside the elevator because that’s where the real thrill begins. Endure the stimulating elevator adventure that is loaded with high-speed drops. While keeping up with the intense falls, you will be bombarded with a lot of frightening elements.
2. Aquatopia
This is like a bumper car but with a twist. Instead of coursing a certain road, you are just circling around the pool. And since you are not pressured to do anything, you simply go with the flow. Kill time as the twirling watercraft revolves in any direction.
3. DisneySea Transit Steamer Line
If you want to see more of the beauty of Tokyo DisneySea, then ride on the Transit Steamer Line.
This 49-seater steamer has three docks. These are located at the American Waterfront, Mediterranean Harbor, and Lost River Delta. And conveniently, you can choose your preferred starting point.
4. The Magic Lamp Theater
The Magic Lamp Theater is a 3-D attraction. It is based on the 1992 Disney film Aladdin and stars the Genie.
I’m gonna go back here before I leave Japan 🤞

🇯🇵Happy time in Disneysea
#tokyo
As we had visited Disneyland years ago, we decided on Disneysea this time, especially when it is the only sea version of Disney.
Learning from experience, we rushed to obtain the express pass so that we sped up the queuing for some popular rides.
Like before, we spent the whole day at the theme park, immersing in the happy atmosphere, eating happy food, and taking many beautiful photos.
It proved to be the happiest place on Earth as well.

i am not a fan of theme park, but I have to say Tokyo Disney Sea is really amazing.
Whether you're a Disney fan or are just curious to experience what is often dubbed as "The Happiest Place On Earth", Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea should be at the top of your must-visit list while you're in Tokyo!
Amazing Christmas at DisneySea Tokyo
#2023travelwish
A visit to Tokyo meant I had to visit DisneySea and it was nothing short of amazing!
DisneySea was beautifully decorated with Christmas decor as it was the festive Christmas period, even the Disney characters were dressed up in Christmas outfits! Everything looked wonderful!
It was great fun taking all the rides, meeting the Disney characters, watching performances and the parade, as well as the fireworks display at the end of the day.
I hope to visit again next year! 🙌🏻
Tokyo Disney Sea
Tokyo Disney sea located next beside the Tokyo Disney Land. Disney Sea riders are harder and rougher than a Disney Land. It’s more suitable and fun for a adults. If you’re bringing kids, Tokyo Disney Land might be more comfortable.
And don’t forget to ride pirate ship and maybe you could meet Johnny Deep. Disney sea is more adventure than Disney land.

Tips Before Visiting Tokyo DisneySea
Before visiting Tokyo DisneySea, you have to install the Disney Resort App to pre-book the shows (subject to draw, depending on luck), make advance reservations for restaurants, and see the waiting times for each ride. I was so lucky to be able to watch the Special Christmastime with You Show, this was the only show we got that day out of the 4 shows. I also highly recommend the Arabian Coast, the architecture is so beautiful, I feel myself in Arab. We enjoyed ourselves very much, the Jasmine’s Flying Carpet, Sindhad’s Storybook Voyage mini world adventures, the Magic Lamp Theatre 4D show, Caravan Carousel, and more. Other than that, you must try the Toy Story Mania, even though the queue was super long, it was so exciting playing the shooting games! If you travel with kids below 6 years old, I highly recommend Mermaid Lagoon. There are several rides suitable for kids, the Blowfish Balloon Race, Whirlpool, Jumpin’ Jellyfish and more.

What to Buy in Tokyo DisneySea
Duffy and friends’ merchandise are only available in Tokyo DisneySea, you can’t get them in Tokyo Disneyland. The newest member Linabell plushies, sling bag, hairband etc. sold out quickly. It is recommended to shop at the 2nd largest department store in DisneySea, i.e., McDuck’s Pawn Shop, you can get most of the Duffy family items here. The store is located in the American Waterfront area, owned by the richest Scrooge McDuck. Upon entrance, you can see the fountain of gold coins decorations. Other than that, there were many limited-edition Christmas stuffs, Disney characters plushies or key chains wearing Christmas clothing, the must have hairbands, popcorn buckets, snacks and many more. If you see any of the interesting items, please buy them at once as you may not see them elsewhere. Happy shopping! Good luck and hope you can get all the items on your wishlist.
Must Eat Food at Tokyo DisneySea
Other than the usual Caramel Popcorn, it is a must to try Macha White Chocolate Popcorn (400 yen), which is available at the Kiosk near the entrance of Mermaid Lagoon. The Kiosk is in pastel blue and green colour, like sea corals in the ocean. There are also Limited-Edition Christmas Tree Popcorn Buckets for sale (3000 yen), must grab fast as it is only sold for a specific period of time. I also tried the Curry Potato Mochi Churros, it was so tasty! The Churro (Chai-Spiced Sugar) available at the Oasis was very popular too. Other popular snacks are Spicy Smoked Chicken Leg, Nemo Orange Churros, Sushi Roll Shrimp and Chicken Cutlet, Bacon Wrapped Sticky Rice, Sparkling Mango Boba Drink, 3-eyes Green Mochi, Ruby Chocolate Raspberry Hot Drink and many more. If you would like to have proper dining, I highly recommend Horizon Bay Restaurant (must prebook in advance), their Matcha Bubble Tea and Christmas Special Mickey Mouse Dessert are superb.
Linabell Merchandise in Tokyo DisneySea
Anyone who loves Duffy Family from Disney would know about Linabell, the latest member of the Duffy family introduced in September 2022. She is a smart pink fox with an inquisitive mind, super adorable especially her giant tail! Linabell merchandise is only available in DisneySea. You can enjoy the Linabell related meals at the restaurant located in Mermaid Lagoon DisneySea. The Linabell’s Deli Plate Set Meal which costs 1,800 yen, comes with a dessert, salad and toast. The Miguel’s Special Set (1,200 yen) comes with taco chips and dips made from soy and pea-based meat. For desserts, there are Strawberry Mousse with Souvenir Cup or Plate (990 yen), where you can bring back the cute cup/plate; the Colourful Chocolates with Mini Snack Case (1,200 yen), comes with mini-M&M. There are also seasonal designer lunch bags. Do not miss it if you visit Tokyo DisneySea.
Horizon Bay Restaurant in DisneySea
This restaurant is located at the Port Discovery section in DisneySea. Remember to install Disney Resort App and pre book your preferred timing in advance, otherwise you won’t be able to dine in. There are limited slots per day due to increasing visitors. The atmosphere was nice, like a cruise. We ordered the Grilled Salmon with Tomato, Octopus and Squid Sauce, Chicken Chop, Seasonal Matcha Bubble Tea, and Christmas Special Mickey Mouse Mousse Cake, not only cute but tasted delicious too. The Matcha drink was awesome! Perfect balance of sweetness and umani of matcha. The kid’s menu came with tomato rice in cute mickey shape, meat patty, sausages, fresh vegetables, fruit jelly and apple juice. There was also a Special Holy Jolly Christmas Set which you can bring back the tray. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Very Amazing !
Amazing experience at the Tokyo DisneySea!
I would recommend getting the dual park ticket so you can enjoy both the DisneyLand and Sea because it’s really hard to choose a favorite !
The Disney adventure begins from the Disney Express train, with many Disney murals littered all over!
TIPS: If you’re there from November , you will be able to catch special Christmas edition shows and the theme parks are all decorated to bring in the holiday season!

Disneysea but not under the sea!
if you will visit Tokyo, do not miss to drop by Disneysea! it is just right accross Disneyland and you can have a discounted ticket for entrance to bith parks. but since we are there on a limited period of time, we just chose one park and lo and behold we are at disneysea. The sights are so amazing, greeting us is a huge globe replete with fountain and upon entering the park, one can see the giant volcano and the body of water sorrounding it. it looks so surreal. we were not able to try all the extreme ride since we went there with three little kids in tow but we were able to experience all the shows and kid friendly rides. My favorite will be the little mermaid show, the submarine ride and of course the parade and meeting the incredible fam, toy story, and may more! we were able to get seats near them! so surreal!!! #tripblazers #spooktaculartrip
