The Bell Tower
#australiatrip A nice place to visit to learn a bit more about history of Perth and the Swan Bells. Quite fascinating to learn how the bell tower works. The tower is not that tall hence do not expect a bird's eye view of Perth when you go up to the top. Still a good place to be added into your itinerary when you visit Perth City. Entrance fees required.
Highest level was viewing, 5 level was viewing of the big bell and 4 level was watching the big bell ring and information on the bells.

In the heart of Perth stands a unique architectural marvel known as The Bell Tower, a symbol of heritage, history, and community. My experience visiting The Bell Tower was nothing short of enchanting, as I learned about its fascinating story and the role it plays in Perth's cultural landscape.
As I approached The Bell Tower, I was immediately struck by its sleek and modern design, juxtaposed against the historic backdrop of the city skyline. The tower's glass walls revealed a glimpse of the intricate machinery and gleaming brass bells housed within, hinting at the treasures that awaited inside.
Upon entering The Bell Tower, I was greeted by the warm glow of polished wood and the melodious sound of bells chiming in the distance. I soon learned that The Bell Tower is home to a collection of historic bells, including the iconic Swan Bells, which were gifted to the city of Perth by the British government to commemorate Australia's bicentennial in 1988.

Perth's leisurely time.
Perth is the capital of Western Australia and the fourth largest city in Australia. Many people call Perth the loneliest capital in the world. Speaking of Perth, we have to mention the black swan. Perth is a gathering place for black swans, known as the "Black Swan City". Many attractions in this city are named after swans.
Our starting and ending point for the trip to Western Australia is Perth, and we will be driving the entire way. We will pick up and return the car at Perth Airport. The main time for sightseeing in Perth is the first and last day, with the main attractions in the city center being relatively concentrated. We will use the scattered time on the first and last day to visit Elizabeth Quay, Swan Bell Tower, and the University of Western Australia, and we will also go to Swan Valley in the suburbs.
📍Elizabeth Port
Elizabeth Quay is a gathering area for Perth's landmark buildings. The Elizabeth Quay Bridge spans the Swan River, which divides Perth into two parts. St. George's Terrace on the north bank of the river is a concentration of Perth's financial and government institutions, known as the "office street". The Hay Street Mall, north of St. George's Terrace, is Perth's commercial district.
There is a cycling path along the Swan River, and many locals like to ride along the river in their leisure time. They love this kind of life and love Perth like this. The most environmentally friendly way to travel in Perth is by cycling along the Swan River.
📍Swan Bell Tower
The Swan Bell Tower is a landmark building in Perth, located on Barrack Street along the Swan River and not far from Elizabeth Quay. The design of the tower is related to swans, with wing-like structures on both sides resembling swan wings. If you have enough time, you can climb to the top of the tower, where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the city skyline and the Swan River. There is a large bell on the top floor of the tower, and visitors can also experience ringing the bell.
📍University of Western Australia
The University of Western Australia is located on the banks of the Swan River, boasting beautiful river views and is known as one of the most beautiful universities in Australia. The University of Western Australia blends naturally with the surrounding scenery, as if it is situated in a huge garden.
Visitors are rare at the University of Western Australia, walking in the campus full of green plants is even more relaxing and comfortable. The scene of students sitting on the ground in twos and threes, chatting and laughing, makes people inadvertently miss campus life. Wandering aimlessly on campus, one can spend an afternoon with just a cup of coffee and a book.
📍Swan Valley
Swan Valley is about a 25-minute drive from Perth. It is one of Australia's famous wine regions and also the largest vineyard and wine producing area in Perth. It is a good place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Here, you can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery of pastoral poetry, but also taste fine wine.
We drove around Swan Valley and saw neat rows of grapevines on both sides of the road, showcasing the appearance of a wine region. We aimlessly wandered near a vineyard and stumbled upon a farm shed selling different varieties of grapes that had just been picked. The prices were very cheap, and since we were at a vineyard, how could we not buy grapes? The freshly picked grapes were indeed delicious, to the point where for the next few days, we wanted to buy grapes whenever we saw them in the supermarket, but unfortunately, we couldn't find that same taste.
In Western Australia, shops and restaurants close early, and in small towns even earlier. Many shops close at 5 o'clock. We found a restaurant that was still open nearby. The exterior looked ordinary, but the interior decoration was quite clever.
This is an Italian restaurant. For Mr. Lin, who has difficulty making choices, ordering Italian food is not a problem. He always orders the must-have pizza and pasta. 📮[Travel Tips]
▪️We drove ourselves throughout our trip in Western Australia, but public transportation is convenient within the Perth city area. You can choose to take public transportation when exploring the city, and the Swan Bell Tower is located near Elizabeth Quay, within walking distance.
▪️Swan Valley is a bit far from Perth city center, it is recommended to drive there.

The Bell Tower, also known as the Swan Bells Belltower, is located on the banks of the Swan River in the heart of Perth, next to the Stirling Gardens. The bell tower was built in the millennium. Its left and right wings are like a pair of swan wings. It has a unique shape and has become one of Perth's landmarks. The tower top of the glass tower and steel pipe structure is 82 meters high. It collects 18 big clocks from all over the UK and forms a group. With the bells of the people playing different music, visitors can also experience the ringing of the clock. It is one of the largest group of bronze clocks in the world today and the only royal clock tower outside England. Figure 3 is , now, there is a concentric lock in the place where there is a tower? Look at the density of the lock to see the population density here. You go to the Seoul Tower to see, I accidentally knocked out a trip, but also reached the foot, flat and well sprinkled. Those locks have no place to squeeze! Look at the pointed strange object in the distance of Figure 4 is this clock tower.
