Affordable Premium Sushi in Silom Bkk 🍣😌
Most Japanese restaurants in the busy business areas of Bangkok can often break your bank.
I accidentally found this interesting sushi place located on Saladaeng Soi 1 in Silom area which isn't quite expensive.
It's called Sei Ryu Sushi which offers an omakase course as low as 800 baht.
I didn't ordered the omakase though because you have to book in advance for it.
But the sushi set I ordered was superb with fresh ingredients.
Actually, they're better than many mainstream places.
The set I ordered cost 330 baht which is quite cheap for an eight pieces plate.
And you can get a refillable clear soup with it too.
I guess it should be crowded during the lunch time on weekdays because of many offices nearby.
I recommend coming here on weekends.

Very very good crafted ice-cream in BKK 🍧
If you're a homemade ice-cream lover, head over to Guss Damn Good crafted ice-cream bar at the Commons Saladaeng in Silom area.
This shop offers many unique flavors of ice-cream in strange names like "don't give up", "bonfire" or "Maine rocky coast".
By just reading the names of these interesting flavors get me really excited to try one.
I ordered something made of seasalt and almond (as in the picture) and it was so good.
You can add different toppings with extra cost, but these colorful sprinkles on mine are free of charge.
For one scoop, it cost me around 80 baht, a bit pricey. This is the minimum.
There are 10 more branches around Bangkok. I'll definitely try more flavors soon.
Enjoy!

Cool Food Hub at the Commons Saladaeng 🍕
I must recommend this food hub on Saladaeng 1 Alley in Silom area of Bangkok.
Many tourists come to this place because it offers a host of eastern and western menus including lobster burger, New York style pizza, and Chinese hot pot.
I absolutely love Soho Pizza, especially its pepperoni pizza, which is really good. I think they have another branch in Thong Lor area.
Anyway, it's a must try.
There are both outdoor and indoor seating. You have to buy the food from the stall of your choice and take it to eat anywhere you like.
The outdoor seating is quite unique. There's a big round seating facility and a bleacher style seating that you must see for yourself.
Today, I ordered a nachos and cheese takeaway.
It's not bad but I prefer the pizza much better.

Minimal-style Café in Silom Area ☕
I intended to have breakfast at the Commons Saladaeng this morning but I got there too early and none of the restaurants was open at that time.
However, this cafe called Roastology, I met by chance, was right across the Commons.
I must say that for 70 baht I can have one of the best hot cappuccino in town. It's even as good as the previous cafe that I have reviewed recently.
I talked to the baristar and she said that this place has been opened for five years already.
It has only a couple of round tables with chairs and a long table that can seat around eight people.
Too bad it doesn't sell any bakery. It would have been a good idea to sell something to eat with their delicious coffee.
I'll surely visit this place again.

This is the first time I tried this restaurant. it is set in a small a transitional house, about five minutes walk from Sala Daeng BTS station.
The dishes are authentic Thai and the service is superb. The Pad Thai had the Soft Crab papaya salad are really delicious. Prices are incredibly reasonable.
