Iconic Shopping mall in Sydney
#sydneytrip
Queen Victoria Building is an incredibly beautiful building that has been turned into a shopping centre. is also the building with one of the most beautiful facades in the city .
The shops have been sympathetically merged with the old architecture. The upper level of floors 1 and 2 are filled with the retail shops for the luxury brands as well as the dessert and tea shops. There are some art and craft shops on the upper floors as well.
On the ground floor and the lower floors, there are the common brand names. By the end of the Lowest floor in the building, it connects to the Westfield center
There is also free wi-fi, which ran at a reasonable spend which come very useful for me
This is a must visit place for tourists and locals
Favorite brands and hottest trends
When I travel, I enjoy observing how gorgeous
buildings are constructed. Anybody else like me? And the plus point for shopaholics is that they have almost all the brands where you can shop.
Just a little information that I got from their website.
Queen Victoria Building (QVB), which is both
historically significant and magnificently designed,
is located on Sydney's George Street and houses
over 180 of the city's most upscale clothing,
jewellery, and home décor stores, as well as
beautiful cafes and eateries.
Getting There - Alight at Town Hall
Opening Hours -
Monday-Wednesday 9am-6pm
Thursday 9am-9pm
Friday-Sunday 11am-5pm
The gorgeous Queen's Building is located in the entire block of Sydney. Now I see that the well-preserved seven-story building was almost demolished and the craftsmen were constantly working around the clock to restore and maintain the colored windows, spiral staircases, glass domes, Arches, railings and floor tiles so they have always been the same as a visitor. It is our greatest honour. Of course, as a commercial shopping mall, the Queen's Building will not disappoint nearly 200 shops, coffee shops, gourmet shops will definitely satisfy you. One-stop shopping experience, the most beautiful shopping mall in the world, this sentence is not what I said, it is what Pierre Cardin once praised.
Queen Victoria Building
The Queen Victoria Building, commonly known as QVB, is located on George Street, the busiest street in the heart of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales. It is adjacent to the Sydney Town Hall and St. Andrew's Cathedral, and is the largest shopping center in Sydney. The famous fashion designer Pierre Cardin praised it as "the most beautiful shopping center in the world".
The Queen Victoria Building was completed in 1898, and the building itself is a domed Roman-style structure. For Australians, the Queen Victoria Building is not just a shopping center; it is a place for leisure, a witness to history, and a source of national pride.
The Queen Victoria Building that we appreciate today, whether it be the glass dome, the stained glass windows, the spiral staircases, the arches, the columns, the railings, or the intricately patterned floor tiles, has all been preserved in its original form.
The Queen Victoria Building itself is a domed Roman-style structure, with a glass dome standing at the center of the top. The shopping center is 190 meters long and 30 meters wide, occupying almost an entire block of George Street. Inside the building, there are over 180 shops, cafes, and restaurants, symbolizing Sydney's upscale shopping centers. The food court underground and the shops on the first floor have a local flair, offering many local brands; the upper levels feature international luxury stores such as Polo, Ralph Lauren, and Papoucci; on the second floor, one can also admire a collection of historical artifacts: such as the British royal jewelry display, an extremely ornate Chinese jade bridal sedan chair (the only one known to have been brought overseas), the distinctive 'Royal Clock' and 'Great Australia Clock', as well as a jade tree, among others.
The most beautiful mall in Sydney
If you’re a sucker for stained glass Victorian buildings, you have to visit the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney.
This mall can be easily accessed through the Sydney light rail system with the station being directly outside the mall.
The shops there are mainly boutique and luxury shops which could be pricey for casual shoppers.
I had afternoon tea in the mall which was absolutely delightful and is a great escape from the Sydney summer heat.

Queen Victoria Building, Sydney 🇦🇺
#wheretogo
When visiting Sydney Australia, one of the must-visits is the Queen Victoria Building (QVB).
QVB is a five-level shopping centre occupying an entire block of George Street in the heart of Sydney's Central Business District. The building showcases many glorious stained glass windows and splendid architecture throughout, making the building in itself one of Sydney’s key attractions!
My rating: 4 ⭐️ out of 5!
Night walk from QVB to Circular Quay

QVB: Queen Victoria Building
A rich history building and full of famous brands shops. Perfect places for who loves shopping or well windown shopping are fine too 😄. Cause I'm also doing the same thing, just window shopping. The building outside design looks like something from Europe and contrast to inside interior that looks like any other shopping mall where many shops lining up to your left and right. The building can be easily accessed from townhall stations and also the part I love the most.

Stroll around the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney.
Always coming here intentionally or unintentionally, everything stems from liking it.
This building is not only breathtaking in its architecture and design, but its history and significance are also worth exploring. It's the place I've visited the most during my time in Sydney.
As usual, on the second day after returning from North America to Sydney, I took the intercity train with my two granddaughters to the Victoria Queen Building, which had been separated from us for more than five months.
Sit down here, close your eyes and listen quietly to "The Blue Danube", or order a glass of brandy at a restaurant and slowly savor the smoke and history - life is so good.
Walking, watching, admiring, marveling, lingering. Today, as I stroll here, I bid farewell for now. I'll come back when I feel like it.
Manon Brasserie - A French Corner found in Sydney
A lovely French restaurant found in Sydney Australia, with outdoor seats as well as in-door located on the ground floor of Queen Victoria Building in the city.
Their seafood is very fresh, and waffle is fantastic. their waffle, I went back for it more than once! Then there’s their Croque Madame, is so good! Too bad I only took Instagram stories of it - couldn’t post moving photos. you can check out ig account @yvesss for more photos tho.
Coffee is nice too but I’ve also been to other great ones in the area! Most importantly, staff is friendly and price is reasonable.

so beautiful shopping mall
I like this shopping mall,so beautiful and lots old style coffee shop,so cute.good little expensive but so yummy.
The Queen Victoria Building QVB is located on the most prosperous George Street in the heart of Sydney, next to the Sydney Town Hall and St. Andrew's Church. Famous fashion designer Pierre Cardin praised it as the most beautiful shopping center in the world
Remember the amazing beauty that Galeries Lafayette in Paris gave me. I came to QVB in Sydney and found that it was there. Nothing, I am really immersed in this group of buildings, watching the aesthetics of art
in the 1890s, Sydney City Hall began to build this building named after the then Queen of England, so now the front door of the building There is also a magnificent Victorian sculpture
building built in 1898. The building itself is a dome-style Roman-style structure, originally used as a market and office, with a green glass dome at the top center, made of glass The inner dome and the copper-clad outer dome are 20 meters in diameter and there are 20 small domes around.
Some artists call her the most beautiful shopping center in the world! I havent traveled the world yet, and Im not afraid to add assertions, but Im really amazing. More than a hundred years ago, the architecture still has the charm... I ate an afternoon tea at the best place in the mall, just to see a few more Great Australia Clock!
I strongly recommend giving her time to come to Sydney, direct train to the Town Hall station, and walk to Hyde Park and Darling Harbour for ten minutes.
At QVB, the Queen Victoria Building on Sydney's busiest George Street, you can experience the history of Sydney. This dome-shaped Roman-style building was built in 1898 and has a history of more than 100 years. Up to now, it has been renovated many times, but still maintains the authentic Victorian style. Step into it, you will be amazed by the intricate and gorgeous windows, carvings, elegant spiral staircases and magnificent domes. There are 4 floors above and below, all of which are luxury shops, cafes, restaurants and special art shops. I found a good model shop here, but the price of the owner is not cheap. The most famous place in QVB building It is a super clock that is said to have been built by top craftsmen who designed clocks for the British royal family. It is said that the inspiration for the Big Bell is the Queen's favorite resort in Scotland, Belmore Castle, which is the largest bell in the Southern Hemisphere. At the time of festivities, the entire QVB echoed by the melodious bells.
