OCBC Skyway
The OCBC Skyway is a must go place to see the whole Marina Bay and the around area.
Short bridged walkway high up between two of the tree structures at Gardens by the Bay. If you do this alone it costs about 12SGD. Short, but cool and with beautiful views. We were told that we weren’t allowed to walk back the way we came (one way bridge) though after we were told that we saw others walking back the other way. Came here in the morning right when they opened; heard that it’s great at night when it’s lit up and with music too. While short I found this worthwhile

Amusement at Mid Autumn
#citywalk
Parents be glad or be worried! As usual there are amusement park rides at this year’s Gardens By the Bay’s mid autumn lantern event. But I guess the thing about SG is that only in this kind of festival you get children friendly rides.
There are rides such as mini ferries wheel, merry go round, mini viking or other fun fair games where you get to win toys by a stroke of luck. Such as toss a ring, bingo, throwing darts.
However I personally feel the free admission lanterns all along the garden is good enough to entertain the kids!
You can bring your battery operated lanterns and walk around.

Gardens by the bay is an attraction that you must go especially if you are a foreigner visiting Singapore! Although this is a man made park, but there are many fun things to do! One of which is the OCBC Skywalk, where is a suspended bridge of more than 20m above ground, you will be able to have a birds eye view of the entire gardens by the bay and even the iconic marina bay sands and the singapore flyer.
A small fee is required for entry and does not cost more than $12, and even cheaper for residents, this place is also kids and wheel chair friendly too! Take this opportunity to take multiple scenic spots from above and make this a memorable one!
Christmas Wonderland 🎄
Sprinkled around the gardens by the bay are cute installations of various Christmas theme such as train (jolly express), bus, snowman, toy soldiers, castle and ginger bread house.
These are not the block buster instillation however they are still crowd favourite, expect queues like the other instillation and look out for snowfall near the snowman!

Whimsical windmill 🍭
Visitors to Christmas wonderland 2022 will be greeted by this illuminated attraction of a 10 m tall windmill together with many cute little elfs and candy canes.
It’s not a recycled instillation so it’s very refreshing and cute. There are a total of 250 candy canes and 35,000 light bulbs.
Visitors can also catch Marina Bay Sands as their backdrop. A rare and pretty sight only during Christmas.
#artshunting
Spalliera 2022
Gardens By The Bay’s Christmas wonderland most famous instillation is the Spalliera from Italian artisans. It is the WILL HAVE instillation and highlight the event.
They design of the Spalliera changes nearly every year and it’s said that they weight over 200 check in baggage and is 21 metres tall. The artists took over 30 days to set the art work up.

Skytree illumination
Do not miss out when the skytree lights up during the night. It is free and anyone can enter the supertree area. It has the most amazing illumination on display and if you time your visit with a Garden Rhapsody show, you can enjoy it even better with music and light show. The best thing about it, it is free and there are no restrictions. Although there are better ways to enjoy it such as view it from the OCBC skyway. It is a must-try for everyone and I have tried it multiple times on different iming of the day. This is thanks to my Friends of Gardens membership.

OCBC skyway
A must do when you are at supertree area and this is also the highest point to look closely at Marina Bay Sands Hotel and enjoy Garden Rhapsody in the night. Very soon, Christmas Wonderland is happening soon and you can be right here at skyway to overlook Wonderland. If you are a member of Gardens by the Bay, the entry into OCBC Skyway is included. There is also no need to make any time booking. So you can just enter as you wish within its opening hours. If there is a queue then you also have to join in. For Christmas Wonderland, it is payable and I will be going soon.

Mid Autumn at Gardens By The Bay 🐰🏮
Mid autumn festival is back at gardens by the bay and this year’s year team is Reunion.
Celebrating the ideal of family reunion and enjoying the lantern displays. significance.
The different lantern has different artist statement. One of them showcases
“Flight to the Phoenix” (百鸟朝凤), which shows us hundreds of birds soaring towards the phoenix, blessing us during a drought.
(LOL, when I was there it was pouring so heavily.)
As with a lot of Chinese festivals one cannot forget about the zodiac animals, as they have fun activities celebrating their Mid-Autumn Festival reunion under the moon.
My favourite would be this Korean lantern inspired the Secret Door (feels like Alice in wonderland) and the animals looks so cute having fun holding lanterns enjoying mid autumn! The lanterns are made of hanji, a traditional handmade paper from Korea.

Mid Autumn Market Place 🏮
After visiting the lanterns, don’t forget about weekend activities such as live outdoor stage performances and a marketplace selling food of all sorts!! Very important because the foodcourt at Gardens By
closed down. The only affordable stuff are McDonald’s 😂.
Too bad I had dinner before heading over without realising there are food this year. Plus it was raining heavily too, so it’s a little hard to eat.
I saw Thai food and their famous milk tea drinks, ramly burger (which is famous in a lot of food fairs in Singapore), Kebab food, potato ball, takoyaki, okomomiyaki, not forgetting a store selling cute balloons 🎈 for the kids.

A scenic sky walk at OCBC Skyway
Take a leisurely walk on OCBC Skyway at Gardens by the Bay, Supertree Grove, to enjoy the scenic views of Supertree Grove with blue skies! You can expect to have a bird’s eye view of Gardens by the Bay, close up views of Supertrees and opportunities to take photos with Marina Bay Sands as the backdrop. 🌳
Additionally, arrive at the right timing to catch Garden Rhapsody at 7.45 pm and 8.45 pm while on the skyway. A different experience as compared to viewing from the ground.
With the Gardens by the Bay membership, it will be great as it allows you to visit the skyway multiple times to enjoy different views offered at different times of the day. For tourists, visit at the time of day that has your preferred view; day view, night view with glowing Supertrees or to catch the sunset.
How to get there - If you’re coming from
Bayfront MRT station, recommended to walk through Gardens by the Bay to reach Supertree Grove instead of taking shuttle service as it will drop you off near Shake Shack, Flower Dome and Cloud Forest.
#naturewonders
Skyway with Kiztopia characters
Coolest thing about the OCBC skyway is when there are events at garden grove such as children’s festival with cute inflatables, we will get to be a drone or a bird. And since I have the annual pass I can just head up to see how it’s like.
I had previously posted the sunset view of the skyway but not the daylight view, as I know that it takes careful planning to be able to be there right when sunset. Quite difficult for tourists.
I think the view is still nice as the sky would be bright and photos would also looks nice but the sun is terrible scorching.
The good side is less crowded so you might not get chase away as fast by the staff.
#naturewonders
Supertrees shimmering in the golden hour
Did you know you can actually head up to the supertrees in Singapore? The bridge is suspended between the supertrees and 22 metres above ground. It’s 128m long only but may or may not be for the faint hearted.
The bridge while stable, still moves :P so beware. However I think it’s still stable enough as compared to other real suspended bridges.
Due to the small area, everyone is only given 15 minutes up there. The staff may or may not chase you depending on the crowd.
The best time to visit is probably in the evening as you get to see the sunset and it’s less sunny. However another time to visit is during the Garden Rhapsody show where you get to see the dazzling supertrees dances.

OCBC Skyway at Gardens By The Bay
The OCBC SkyWay at Gardens By The Bay is a 128-meter long aerial walkway 22 meters off the ground offering stunning views of both the city of Singapore and the futuristic forest, which are the supertrees that are made of concrete with plants all over the world grown on them. it's a engineering marvel!
It's a great attraction to check out in the Gardens by the Bay. You get to get close to the Supertree Grove and get a nice 360 view of the gardens, the domes, and the CBD skyline. The skyway is quite small and it won't take more than 15-20 minutes to walk through it will taking pictures. Well worth the admission price.

OCBC Skyway | Singapore Gardens by the Bay Skyway
The Singapore Gardens by the Bay Skyway.🌉 is a skywalk 'visitor bridge' suspended between two Supertree structures.
🌈The walkway is only 128m long and 22m high, allowing for an up-close appreciation of the 12 vertical gardens within the Supertree grove.
🎟Ticket prices are divided into two categories: Local adults $8, children $5
Foreign adults $12, children $8 (If there's no queue on-site, you can directly scan the QR code to buy tickets)
🔹Typically, tickets are only valid for 15 minutes, but during off-peak times, you can still enjoy and take photos at a leisurely pace, half an hour is more than enough!
👣The best time to visit is during the twilight hours when the lights first come on, which is also the perfect time to watch the Garden Rhapsody.
🕐Operating hours: 9am - 9pm (Last ticket sale and entry is at 8pm)
🔹There are free light and music shows at 7:45pm and 8:45pm every night, which are very beautiful and romantic.

Steel Trees on the Garden City
#singapore
A good way to enjoy the scenery of Gardens by the Bay is by viewing it atop of the OCBC Skyway and Supertree walk.
First you ride the elevator and it will take you to that super tree deck (which is surprisingly wide) then it tapers down to the ‘catwalk’
When you are walking on the ground, it is somewhat hard to quantitate span of the greenery of Garden’s by the bay, but at top? whew the Garden is HUGE!!
The experience is pretty fun, if you’re a bit scared, i suggest to hold tight, walk a bit fast and don’t look below🙈

So Close To The Stars
If you are ever at Gardens by the bay, one should not miss out going up on the ocbc skyway. Do yourself a favour, get a ticket, head up to the ocbc skyway and be close to the stars at night. The view and experience on the skyway is just priceless.
At the very top of the ocbc skyway, it boost views of the beautiful marina bay Sands and the Singapore flyer. Look down and you can see the christmas wonderland carnival going on. When the supertree Grove light show starts and you're lucky to be in top the ocbc skyway, the supertrees are like dancing stars in the nightlight. Way too pretty! The only limitation is that you only get to spend 15 minutes on the skyway and it can get very crowded at times. If you go in the day, then it may just be very hot in singapore's weather. There is only 1 lift going up and down on each end of the skyway so you have to wait awhile to get up or down as well. All in all, I still enjoyed my time the ocbc skyway.

SuperTree 🌴🌴Highlight of Singapore🇸🇬
🌴🌴The Super tree Groove, one of highlight in Singapore, is vertical gardens. There are 18 Super trees and some of these have skywalks connected to each other, called OCBC skyway. At this skyway, you can see Marina Bay view and surrounding area.
⭐️You can visit in both daytime and nighttime, but I recommend you should come at night ( about 7.30 pm. and 8.30 pm. ). There are light and sound show of Super tree Groove.🎼🎼 This show is around 15 minutes and it is very beautiful show. Moreover, you can watch this show free without any payment unless you want to go to OCBC Sky. There is an entrance free.

Supertrees Grove and OCBC Skywalk
#sginsider
Supertrees are tree-like structures that dominate the gardens' landscape with heights that range between 25 metres and 50 metres.
The OCBC Skyway at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is an elevated skywalk connecting some of the Supertrees. The OCBC Skyway is 22 metres above the ground and 128 metres long.
I only saw the daytime view because I didn't have time for the evening. If you want, you can enjoy both the daytime and nighttime views of the OCBC Skyway. Also there are light and music show in the evenings.
