We bought the family STEM package, which includes the Crystal Cabin (uphill) + Panoramic Cabin (downhill) + Cable Car Exploration Centre tickets, an ice cream voucher (remember to exchange it at the market, it's delicious), and a panoramic cable car building block set, which Youyou loved! It's very suitable for family trips during the summer holidays~
🌟Check-in spots:
1⃣️Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car🚡
We've been looking forward to the transparent glass cable car for a long time, and finally, we got to experience it. You can overlook Hong Kong, with forests and the sea beneath your feet, and even see the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in the distance! Surprisingly, Youyou was not scared at all, sitting happily inside and didn't want to get off.
The cable car has three types of cabins: Standard Cabin, Crystal Cabin, and Panoramic Cabin. The Panoramic Cabin offers the most spectacular views, with glass on all sides and the bottom, allowing for a 360-degree view of the beautiful mountains and seas of Lantau Island, truly one of the top ten best cable cars in the world.
Route: 🚇2 minutes walk from Exit B of Tung Chung MTR station.
2⃣️Ngong Ping Market
After getting off the cable car, you arrive at the market. Families should not miss the Cable Car Exploration Centre here, the first cable car-themed exploration center in Hong Kong, with interactive game areas where you can play and learn about the history and operation of cable cars. It's great for the whole family to experience together. You can also enjoy lunch here, with beverage shops and restaurants, as well as souvenir stores. The bus to Tai O also departs from here.
3⃣️Tian Tan Buddha
The tallest outdoor bronze seated Buddha in the world, it looks majestic and solemn from both afar and up close, and can be seen from the market.
4⃣️Po Lin Monastery
Located at the mountain top, facing the Tian Tan Buddha, it's sacred and spectacular. There are many local tourists praying here, and you can also have a vegetarian meal.
5⃣️Tai O Fishing Village
After visiting Ngong Ping, you can go to Tai O for a stroll. The original fishermen's life can be experienced by taking a boat tour around the village. If you're lucky, you might even go out to sea to see white dolphins. There are many snacks in the village, so you can eat while you walk. If you get tired, find a seaside café to comfortably enjoy the slow life here. If the weather is good, you can also enjoy a stunning sunset🌄
Life advice, always come to Hong Kong to take a panoramic cable car ride at least once
This is already my second time in Hong Kong
The view of Victoria Harbour from Victoria Peak is really amazing
But this time
I found a new way to enjoy Hong Kong❤️
360-degree fully transparent panoramic cable car🚡
Recognized as one of the top ten best cable car experiences in the world
Very close to the airport, you can also play during transit✈️.

I have compiled a detailed one-day tour guide, feel free to ask if you have any questions❓
.
🚗'How to get here❓'
🚇Guangzhou high-speed rail directly to 'Hong Kong West Kowloon Station', cross the border by Shenzhen subway, then transfer to MTR to 'Tung Chung Station' Exit A
🚌Bus: S1 Tung Chung Cable Car Station
🚖Taxi: 5 minutes by taxi from Hong Kong Airport

🚠'How to choose a cable car❓'
Panoramic cable car (operating hours: 10:00~18:00), it is recommended to return later, just in time to watch the sunset. There are regular cable cars and transparent cable cars here, the special features are the 💎crystal cabin and 3⃣️6⃣️0⃣️panoramic cabin, it is recommended to choose these two, one-way trip is 20 minutes, the panoramic cabin is really stunning, and the glass is very transparent, as if there is none.
But remember to queue up in advance to exchange tickets, there are quite a lot of people on weekends, remember to reserve time.

🎡Tour route: Crystal cable car-Ngong Ping Market-Po Lin Monastery-Tian Tan Buddha-Heart Sutra Woods-Panoramic cable car
-
✅Ngong Ping Market
You can see it as soon as you get off the cable car, eating, drinking and entertainment are all here, it can be used as a rest point and lunch place. There is also a comic wall here, it's interesting to take a picture with the cable car in the same frame.
✅Po Lin Monastery
It feels like the Forbidden City, this time I came here in Hanfu with my friends, and the photos are very good.
✅Tian Tan Buddha
Quite a lot of locals come here, it is considered a landmark, you can see it from a distance, it's a bit tiring to climb up, but it's great for taking pictures in Hanfu.
✅Heart Sutra Woods
It's about 15 minutes walk from the Big Buddha, it's quite hidden, it's quite shocking when you get there, the towering pillars are lined up one after another.
.
If you go to Hong Kong🇭🇰, don't miss it here.
See you in the next note!
Revolution Trip in Hongkong
Ngong Ping 360 is a tourist attraction that is praised by tourists. It attracts countless tourists with its unique cable car system and charming natural scenery. When I visited Hong Kong, I have the privilege to experience the charm of Ngong Ping 360 firsthand.
Here, I am sharing with you my five-star ride experience evaluation. One, the cable car system of Ngong Ping 360 is undoubtedly the core highlight of the whole attraction. Sitting on the cable car, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lantau Island and overlook the whole island from high altitude. Whether it is the Buddha of Heaven, Dadongshan, or the Chinese white dolphin, you can have a panoramic view of the cable car. The whole cable car journey is very smooth, without the slightest bump, providing a comfortable viewing environment for tourists. Second, Lantau has a unique natural scenery, and Ngong Ping 360 is a beautiful scenery. You can see rolling hills, dense woods, clear streams and vast oceans as you take the cable car. Especially when the sun shines through the clouds on the mountains and the sea, the whole scene is picturesque and intoxicating. Third, in addition to the natural scenery, Ngong Ping 360 also carries a deep cultural heritage. The temple is a historic temple, and many visitors will choose to enjoy the temple on the platform near the cable car terminal. Here you can feel the unique charm of Buddhist culture, and you can also appreciate the exquisite and solemn temple architecture.
Over all, Ngong Ping 360 is worth seeing, a very happy journey.
A day trip on the Tung Chung Line in Hong Kong
If you love taking photos or don't want to miss the places you want to check in,
Arriving at West Kowloon, it's quick to get to Tung Chung by subway! Worth a visit
There are many places to eat in the mall, choose to eat well before taking the cable car up the mountain
If you don't want to miss the scenery on both sides, 360 panoramic round trip, it's worth it! Unobstructed check-in background, both sides are beautiful, you won't regret it
The Big Buddha is very sacred
But don't take pictures inside
There are immortals
Overall, it's refreshing and not very tired
If you're tired, you can rest well in the mall
WONDERFUL NGONG PING 360 HONG KONG
What a spectacular view! To be able to go to Ngong Ping Village,we had to be in a cable car,it was quite a long ride about 25mins,but we enjoyed the view, offering the breathtaking views of Tung Chung Bay. Ngong Ping Village offers calming vibes, there were restaurants and cafes at the entrance. We finally went up to the Big Buddah where you have to do 100s of steps before you could reach the top. The cable car was only until 6pm, as the weather changed around 5pm ,it became foggy so you wont be able to see anything around. It covers everything. To get here, from central you have to take an orange line to Tung Chung and the fare is 30hk dollars one way. #ngongping360hongkong #Tungchung

#exploreasia
Ngong Ping Cable Car ride connects Tung Chung with Ngong Ping Village and offers serene panorama views of Lantau Island, Hong Kong.
🚆 You can get there by bus, or MTR Tung Chung Line Exit B.
💲Gondola tickets can be purchased at the counter for HKD235.
🚡Standard cabin is sufficient because the view is the same. There is always a longer queue for the Crystal cabins.
Visit around 4pm and there will be no queue, lesser crowds, you will get the entire gondola for yourself. You can watch planes landing and taking off due to the close proximity to HK International Airport.
The sunset view is mesmerizing!

Then this ride is for you. 😂😂😂
But seriously, if you want to conquer your fear of altitude, check out NGONG PING 360 CABLE CAR EXPERIENCE in Hongkong.
You got two options, either a standard cabin or the crystal cabin (if you are really brave enough)
It took us 25 minutes hanging and dangling in the air 😂😂😂 ... From Tung Chung station to Ngong Ping Village (thats the last stop on the way to the Big Buddha)
Nevertheless, it was a fun ride! 💜

Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Ngong Ping 360 Pilgrimage Trail, panoramic 360 cable car experience.
On the weekend, I made an appointment with friends to go to 🇭🇰 and experience one of the "World's Top Ten Cable Car Experiences" - a 5.7 km journey with an aerial view. The round trip takes about 25 minutes, including waiting time, and is expected to take 1-2 hours. Sitting in a quiet and comfortable cabin, you can overlook the Lantau Island Country Park, Hong Kong International Airport, Tian Tan Buddha and the South China Sea. It's important to balance work and rest, and this is a great way to relax and enjoy yourself. It's very convenient to come to Hong Kong from Shenzhen now, and the OneDay round trip is more than enough time. 😌
Ticket types are varied, divided into cable car tickets and land-air tickets.
There are three types of cable cars: regular, crystal, and mixed panoramic cabins.
🌀The panoramic carriage has excellent visual effects because the bottom is also transparent, which broadens your horizons and allows you to appreciate the magnificent scenery of Lantau Island and feel the spectacular beauty of nature with the blue sea and sky.
🌀If you want to spend a whole day playing on Lantau Island, you can choose the land and air ticket. The pass is valid for the day and you can return to Ngong Ping Cable Car before the cable car stops operating. For details, please go there yourself or call ☎️ the staff for detailed consultation 😆.
🌀I chose the panoramic carriage, which provides a great experience. The bottom of the carriage is made of fully transparent glass on all four sides, which was reportedly introduced for use just a few months ago. It's a real treat for the eyes and very relaxing👀. After the ride, you can also visit the Ngong Ping Market for some shopping and eating. It's a one-stop-shop for food, fun, and entertainment. On the left side of the market entrance, there's a small rotating staircase where you can take some great photos. You can also visit the Tian Tan Buddha to make a wish, burn incense at the Po Lin Monastery, and recite the Heart Sutra in the Simple Forest. The experience is truly fulfilling😍.

We took the Ngong Ping 360 cable car over to the Ngong Ping Village. The cable ride was smooth sailing and took around half an hour. If you want to have more highlights during the cable ride, opt for the crystal cabin cable car ride - the glass bottom will give you amazing views of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and the Big Buddha.
Once landed at the village, we walked around and explored the various shops and decorations. The highlight of the trip was the Big Buddha. The seated bronze Buddha statue is already stunning at the bottom of the ling stairs. We climbed up the steps to the base for a closer look at the statue as well as enjoyed the view of the surrounding mountains.
We ended our trip with some delicious vegetarian snacks at the century-old Po Lin Monastery.

Gate Way to Tian Tan
#meethongkong
Ngong Ping Village, a charming cultural hamlet that features Walking with Buddha and the Monkey’s Tale Theatre. This is where the cable car station is .The village also harbors several souvenir shops and restaurants. which make it a great stop before or after visiting Tian Tan. It also the perfect opportunity to buy some souvenirs and have a light meal.
I personally have some desert at a shop name honeymoon Established in 1995, Honeymoon started as a family-style store in Sai Kung and grew to become a network with over 400 stores.Signature products are “Mango Pancake”, “Durian Pancake”, “Mango Pomelo and Sago Sweet Soup” and “Snow White Sago”.
Going Beyond the City
#meethongkong
I have a friend who has moved to Hong Kong after finishing college. She has been in Hong Kong for a few years now so she knows which sites to recommend to visitors and when it is best to see those sites to avoid the crowd. One of the spots she suggested we go to is the Ngong Ping Buddha. It sits on top of a mountain so getting there gave us a cable car experience, allowing us to see a part of Hong Kong from above. It was amazing! There were so many sites to visit and of course, we took lots of photos. It was quite the trek to get to the top bu it was definitely worth it. It took us half a day to complete the tour but I think we could have spent a few more hours in there!
Sky riding to the Big Buddha
Big Buddha is a center of Buddhism in Hong Kong.
Constructed in 3 years between 1990 to 1993, Big Buddha which was made of bronze become one of the tourist attractions in Hong Kong since it was open to the public. From the ground level, we have to climb 268 steps to reach the Buddha.
We can get there by taking the bus or cable car. Taking a cable car is one of the most interesting parts. Along the 25-minute journey, we can enjoy a beautiful view of the South China Sea, Hong Kong International Airport, North Lantau Country Park, Tung Chung Valley, and Ngong Ping Plateau. Next time I want to try the crystal cabin for the cable car, it must be much more interesting.

Walking with Buddha
One of the best ways to experience Hong Kong is through a visit at Ngong Ping 360 in Lantau Island.
Start by hopping to the Ngong Ping Cable car and have an unobserved view of the island, including the mountains and the waters surrounding the island. It's the perfect vantage point to have a bird's eye view of Hong Kong.
Hop off the aerial ride and start the walk. Ngong Ping Village is a 1.5 hectare open air park and culturally themed village designed and landscaped to integrate into the scenic nature of Ngong Ping with a lot of attractions to visit.
Start at the Big Buddha then take the steps and ascend to the top for a panoramic viewing.
Once you have absorbed the majestic scenery, end your trip with some shopping. The village also harbors several souvenir shops and restaurants.

Ngong Ping 360 trip
Sunday trip to Ngong Ping on Lantau Island visiting the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car and Po Lin Monastery.
We wanted to visit the famous Big Buddha as well but the long staircase is closed for maintenance.
We enjoyed the fresh air in the rural area on Lantau Island that can not be found in the city so it’s a good spot to go on a relax weekend.
An easy way out for busy souls
Loved the ride with Ngong Ping 360. Staff were helpful. Had a smooth, peaceful ride. Cabin was stable on a rainy day. Would love to ride with Ngong Ping 360 again.

Ngong Ping 360
When you are in Hong Kong, a trip on the well-known Ngong Ping 360 cable car is a must! I was amazed by the picturesque 5.7 km adventure from Tung Chung Town Centre to Ngong Ping Village on Lantau Island. Let yourself be amazed as your Hong Kong landscape turns into captivating views of the island of Lantau, the South China Sea and the slopes of North Lantau Country Park. As you walk towards the village, see the historical statue of Buddha Tian Tan from behind the trees of Ngong Ping. For a more exciting ride on the cable car, opt for the Crystal Cabin package. Take in the view of Hong Kong in a glass-bottomed cabin – an unforgettable experience for family and friends traveling together!
Stunning place in Hong Kong to visit!
Po Lin Monastery is located in the Ngong Ping religious complex in Hong Kong. In the scenic area you can find different attractions where traditional Chinese architecture predominates such as temples, buddhas, shops...The monastery is impressive both internally and externally. It was, along with the great Buddha, one of our favorite places.

There are standard and crystal cable cars you can chose to enjoy the view along the way. It costs between 250 HKD for standard car (return) and 350 HKD for crystal car (return). NgongPing Cable Car and Village
NgongPing Village is Located on Island away from hustle of HongKong. There are many places to visit here, from fancy restaurants to Monastery to Hike with view, all make this a great weekend gateway in HongKong. There are many ways one reach to village, by bus, By taxi, hike or by cable car. One thing to keep in mind is that the weather up on hill changes frequently. When we took cable car from cable car station, it was sunny and when we reach up in village it was all cloudy and we were not able to see Big Buddha as it was so foggy that it was not visible. There is beautiful treks and Monasteries and restaurants serving various options. Vegan, Vegetarian all food available. You can take a small hike to the dragons back, it gives beautiful view of the city. From cable car as well you can see airport. Macau and HongKong Bridge, there are 2 type of trolley available- One with glass floor so you will be able to see down from the trolley. It’s little expensive compared to other one without glass floor. Overall a quite interesting and good time can be spend on the mountain. #ngongping360 #hongkong #travel #cablecar
