Fantastic streets around the temple with a large number of stalls selling allsorts. Another street has a number of small cafe type shops. The temple was very very impressive and free. A genuine taste of China culture. Interesting tower for a short visit. Do not need to spend a lot of time here as there's nothing much to see there

China's largest land port, the largest national gate, is located in Manzhouli, the remote small county town of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, which may not be so familiar to most southerners.
Manzhouli's Guomen Scenic Area is only a few kilometers away from the urban area. It can be reached quickly by taxi. The national gate is 105 meters long, 43.7 meters high and 46.6 meters wide. It was built in 2008 and is embedded in the milky white door. The seven "red" characters of the "People's Republic of China" were adopted by the International Railway. The
Gumen scenic area covers an area of 13 square kilometers, including the No. 41 boundary pillar, the national gate, the red international secret traffic line, the main sculpture of the Peace Gate, the historical relief of Manzhouli, the red tourism exhibition hall, and the locomotive square.

Located in the western part of Manzhouli, Guomen is a milky white building 30 meters high and 40 meters wide. There are seven red characters "People's Republic of China" above the country gate. The country gate was built in 2008. There are three railway tracks of two widths and one standard below. The building is tall and magnificent. There are two squares outside the scenic spot, one fighter and one locomotive. The fighter plane was purchased by the people of Manzhouli for the donation of the state. It is now used to commemorate. The small locomotive in the locomotive square was the head of the train when Chairman Mao visited the Soviet Union.

🧜♀️It's really China! Haven't left the country! Manzhouli Fairy Tale Castle!
Actually, it's our Manzhouli in China!
😙Mammoth Park
Had breakfast in the morning, then set off for Mammoth Park. The candy castle is really beautiful, and I unexpectedly enjoyed the Ferris wheel, windmills... Oh, and the Middle Eastern train, taking photos was super photogenic. The mammoth is super big, Lemon was so excited, kept talking to me about related picture books, and we even took a photo together, it was perfect!
😙Wedding Palace
By noon, it was so hot outside, and the weather wasn't great, it was all gloomy, so I didn't take many photos and went straight to lunch.
👀Lublix Western Restaurant
You must go early! Because it's super crowded at night.
Chicken skewers: We all agreed that these were the tastiest!
Lamb stuffing skewers: Not so great.
Sausage: Not bad, but nothing spectacular.
Cheese buns: These are good, really tasty.
Pot beef: Okay, it's tasty, just ordinarily tasty.
Queen's salad: It has fish in it, the raw kind, don't order it if you don't like that.
Black pepper pasta: Really tasty, recommended.
Tomato pasta: We didn't think much of it.
Blueberry juice: This was quite good.
👧Matryoshka Square
It's pretty, just take some photos and you can leave, not recommended to go inside.

🌈Hulunbuir | Pitfall Tips:
1. Be cautious when signing up for low-priced travel groups, unreliable drivers can cause a lot of trouble for the trip!
2. Hulunbuir has strong ultraviolet rays, remember to bring sunscreen, sun hats, sunglasses, and other sun protection items
3. If you want to take beautiful photos, it is recommended to bring clothes in yellow, white, blue, green, and other colors, which look more beautiful and moving on the summer grasslands
⚠️Tips for traveling with children:
①The temperature difference between morning and evening on the grassland is large, remember to bring a thick coat even in summer when going to Hulunbuir
②Try to choose good hotels for accommodation, especially for parent-child trips, comfortable living is even more important than the itinerary
③Do not trust low-priced groups on the street and people who approach you actively
.
🙋♀️Parents taking children on a trip😭 worry about the child being young, prone to crying and fussing, and also worry about being unfamiliar with the roads in Hulunbuir
Joining a 【Pure Play Small Group】 is the right choice🙋♀️
One price includes food, accommodation, travel, and fun, and they can even help take care of the children and take photos, so worry-free~
TranquilityRetreats
I haven't been abroad! This is Manzhouli, China!
Manzhouli can be considered as a recent stop where I had no expectations, yet it was full of surprises.
I went there in April, and unexpectedly, I still needed a thick coat in the morning and evening due to the significant temperature difference. Friends who go there during the summer, remember to bring a coat.

🌈 Mammoth Park and Matryoshka Hotel/Matryoshka Park, it's enough to just take some photos at the entrance of these two places, no need to buy tickets to go inside.
🇨🇳 The National Gate, I bought a ticket to go inside, 128 yuan per person, which allows you to visit the National Gate and the observation deck. However, it's just a brief look at the border of Russia, Mongolia, and China, and the ticket price is a bit high.
🚘 You can rent a car or hire one to go to the grasslands and Hulun Lake for a visit. It was my first time on the grasslands, and it was really beautiful. The clouds were thick and low, and the sky was super blue. But I went there in early June, and the grass wasn't very green yet, it will be greener in July/August. 👗 I suggest renting Mongolian traditional clothing to take some photos on the grassland. However, there are not many places to rent clothes in Manzhouli, Angar Youth Hostel has very characteristic clothes for both men and women, you can go and check it out. I took photos in 2 sets of clothes, and they turned out pretty well.
🏨
Many people recommend the Matryoshka Hotel, but I stayed for one night and it was a bit creepy. I heard that the price goes up to 2000 yuan per night during the summer. That's a big no for me.
You can stay at the Manzhouli Hotel, a century-old establishment, which still retains the decoration style of the past, making you feel like you've traveled back in time.
⚠️
For transportation, it's actually quite convenient to rent a car for a self-driving tour. If you hire a car, it generally costs 150-200 yuan per day. For daily taxi rides, just call Didi.

The Most Beautiful Border Town Travel Guide
🏰 This is a city located at the junction of China, Russia, and Mongolia, where colorful castles and Russian matryoshka dolls are everywhere. It looks just like a fairy tale world~ If you don't share your location, you might think you're in Russia~
Matryoshka Square
This is definitely a must-visit spot. Inside the scenic area, there's a theme park, a grand circus show, art performances, hotels, and more. Even if you don't go inside the scenic area, taking photos outside on the square is also very beautiful! Full of Russian charm
Matryoshka Hotel
An absolute landmark building, said to be the world's largest matryoshka. The most important thing is❗️ you can visit for free🆓! The exterior of the hotel is a super-sized matryoshka shape, and the interior is entirely European style~ It incorporates various matryoshka-themed elements, and the decoration is incredibly luxurious, with various oil paintings and murals as decorations, simply too beautiful! If you come to Manzhouli, don't miss it!
Free View of the National Gate
Following the route, you can first see the 'First Gate of the Northern Country,' which is completely free. To the left is the national gate, though there's a wire fence, but you can still take good photos~ The angle is not bad😏 If you want a closer look, you need to buy a ticket to enter. You can go up the observation tower, see three countries at a glance, which is also a special experience
Mammoth Park
You can take photos at the entrance without buying a ticket, colorful fairy tale castles + exotic Russian-style buildings, it's really photogenic. How should I put it, this castle seems to be made of candy🍬
City Night View
The center of Manzhouli is not big, but don't miss it~ You can have a City walk🚶 The scenery is most beautiful at dusk, during the blue hour, when the European-style buildings in the city just light up, looking up at that moment, it's really beautiful and dreamy
😋 Delicious Food
Had some super delicious Dalian bread, really special fragrance! Milk skin bread🥯 is like an oversized pineapple bun, 💰6r each, recommended! Caramel nut bread🥖 is full of walnuts, raisins, very substantial~ You can also try Dalian bread and dairy products here
🏨 Accommodation Recommendations
Near Zhong-Su Jin Street, there are many hotels and it's easier to park. You can walk to the specialty stores, they are all quite close
Dalian Russian Specialty Store
Milk powder chocolate chips are recommended, tasty and not expensive. There are many types of snacks, if you need to buy souvenirs, you can go and have a look, it's really nice to shop~ They can ship by express, if you accidentally buy too much, you can send it directly, it's suggested not to buy too heavy items, otherwise, the shipping cost will be overwhelming, haha🤭
Manzhouli is a very distinctive small town, not only gathering the cultures of China, Russia, and Mongolia, but also various restaurants, including Northeastern Chinese cuisine, haha! If you come to Inner Mongolia, you can spend a day to experience this fairy-tale-like city
DEACON GLOVER
The most beautiful border town in China turns out to be here—A trip to Manzhouli
Manzhouli is a border city at the junction of China, Russia, and Mongolia, bordering Mongolia to the west and Russia to the north. It is the famous 'Window of East Asia'—Manzhouli.
It has the largest national gate in China, beautiful castles all over, tall Russian girls, and billboards in the languages of all three countries, China, Russia, and Mongolia. The architectural style is very distinctive, including Baroque style. This is not just a small 18th-tier border town, it is clearly the Manzhouli branch of Saint Petersburg.

Manzhouli Travel Guide: The Sino-Russian border port that you must visit in this lifetime
📍Manzhouli National Gate Scenic Area
Address: Nine kilometers west of Manzhouli city
Ticket: 128rmb
The railway national gate is generally recommended for check-in. In fact, you can pass the highway port on the way to the railway national gate, and it seems that the vehicles on the other end of the road are from Russia. The development of the national gate scenic area in Manzhouli is much better than that in Yanji Tumen. There is a special passenger center. Although the ticket sales for convenience, I bought an electronic ticket and seemed to miss the 47th floor to see the three countries from a high place. (I bought a ticket of 128 by scanning the code, and the driver told me the next day that it included the ticket to the high building, but I didn't know so I didn't go up 233)
After buying the ticket and entering the security check, walk close to the railway national gate. The building also looks quite majestic. As soon as I entered, a freight train roared past, loading a large amount of goods to the Chita region of Russia.
Although there is no elevator in the national gate building, you can go up the stairs and stand inside to watch the Chinese railway and Russian railway on both sides of the national gate. After coming down from the national gate, you can also go to see the boundary monument next to it. Because I didn't bring an umbrella and it suddenly rained, I didn't continue to check in. I could only hurry back to the Matryoshka Hotel to get an umbrella and go to the next destination.

The border pillar No. 41, at the border between China and Russia, is the territory of our country. The outside of the wall is not the territory of Russia, because there are still shared. That green post is the Russian post, and a post like Hulunbeier is very common, because Hulunbeier is a border city. There is an entrance below the country gate to enter the country gate, take the elevator to the observation deck on the second floor. The view here is very good. You can watch the Russian country door across the glass through the glass, and the huge Russian letters are equally spectacular.

After coming to the Manchuria country gate, I realized that Chinas largest land port is actually in such a small city. The Manchuria country gate is still worth seeing. Especially those with red feelings, don't miss this place. From the end of the Qing Dynasty, the Manchuria National Gate has continued to this day, and the style has changed. It is now the fifth generation. There is a tour bus at the door. It is not recommended to take a ride. It will take about one kilometer to walk down. Here you can also see the restoration sculptures of the previous generations of the country, feeling that they accidentally entered the torrent of history.
Here you can also see the only national gate of Manchuria - block boundary monument - 41 boundary pillar. There is a Russian food supermarket at the exit, and I am also a dazzling one.
