Dalian's cherry blossoms are very famous, and beautiful cherry blossoms can be enjoyed in many places, including the 203 Cherry Blossoms
Longwangtang Cherry Blossom Park is located in Guanfangzi Village, Longwangtang Street, High-tech Zone, 500 meters from the Longwangtang Station of the Lushun South Road bus and 800 meters from the Light Rail Longwangtang Station. The park was established in 1926 and is one of the earliest cherry blossom-themed parks in China. Despite the vicissitudes of time, there are still more than ten Tokyo cherry trees that were planted at the beginning of the park's creation, which are nearly a hundred years old, as well as dozens of precious old trees such as Oshima cherry, camphor, ginkgo, cypress, French plane, cedar, and black pine, including a rare hundred-year-old Star Magnolia, which is known as the king of flowers. Since the 1980s, more than 10 varieties of cherry trees totaling over 3,000 have been planted in the park, including Tokyo flowers, Oshima, Yaezakura, Gyoen Yellow Cherry, Weeping Cherry, Yamazakura, Red Leaf Cherry, Taibai, Big Lantern, and Masaki Early Head. The park also features a plum garden, magnolia garden, green peach garden, bamboo garden, accompanied by lilacs, crabapples, forsythias, crape myrtles, and yellow roses, all vying for beauty and displaying their own charm.
