My personal favourite park in LONDON 🇬🇧🌴🌳🏞️
#timetotravel
Hampstead Heath is very big, my friend and I went on a picnic on a sunday afternoon and we managed to find a spot all to ourselves and there were no one in sight within 20 metres radius.
While it is further away from the city centre than Hyde Park, and there is no tube stations nearby, it is very much worth the time and journey to get there. It is because the park is so tranquil, the breath of fresh air and has definitely makes me forget that I am in London.
How to get there:
I took bus number 46 and got off at Cressy Road (Stop M).

🇬🇧Hampstead Sunset | Best Panoramic View of London
📍 Hampstead Heath
I was taken by some local friends to Hampstead Heath to witness the sunset, and it offers the perfect vantage point to overlook the entire London skyline.
Hampstead is a renowned affluent area in Northwest London, where many celebrities reside, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Emilia Clarke (aka Daenerys Targaryen), and Taylor Swift's former beau, Harry Styles. It's often referred to as the "Beverly Hills of London."
As you make your way there, you'll typically encounter local residents strolling with their dogs, enjoying a leisurely family outing. On warm summer evenings, with a gentle breeze blowing, sitting beneath the purple-blue sky creates an incredibly chilled atmosphere.
At the highest point of Parliament Hill, there's a viewpoint called Parliament Hill Viewpoint. From there, you can effortlessly enjoy the best view of the London skyline. Many people sit silently, savoring the serene moments of London, awaiting the arrival of the sunset. The viewpoint has a signboard that highlights the iconic buildings within the skyline, ranging from Caledonian Park on the far left to The O2 Arena, Canary Wharf, the Financial District, and the BT Tower.

Sunsets in the city of London 🌇🇬🇧
Is there anything more beautiful than experiencing nature being a true artist daily? There is a quote that I love which goes 'As long as we see the sun rise and set every day, there is still hope'. ♥️
And there is something particularly magical about seeing a subset in the city. Somehow it makes you stop and stare during an otherwise rushed lifestyle. Having said this, London is not just skyscrapers and tall apartment blocks. There are beautiful parks which make you feel like you've left the city far behind. The last image was taken during my walk by sunset in Hampstead Heath - a wide park in North London. Go up to Parliament hill for stunning views of the city; or, in my case, walk down to the lake on the side for equally gorgeous tranquil sights..

Picnic At Hampstead Heath
Hampstead Heath is a large, ancient London heath, covering 320 hectares . this grassy public space sits astride a sandy ridge, one of the highest points in London, running from Hampstead to Highgate, which rests on a band of London Clay. The heath is rambling and hilly, embracing ponds, recent and ancient woodlands, a lido, playgrounds, and a training track, and it adjoins the former stately home of Kenwood House and its estate. The south-east part of the heath is Parliament Hill, from which the view over London is protected by law.
Hampstead Heath is a wonderful park with breathtaking views. The art gallery in the Park's northern area is fantastic. The area is full of interesting places to visit, so exploring it is definitely worthwhile. Several acres of open space adorn Hampsted Heath. A range of animals such as donkeys, deers, and other animals can be seen, which will entertain the children. There are many interesting things to see and a perfect place to picnic.

The serene beauty of this ancient heath🏴
#europetrip
As I ascended the sandy ridge of Hampstead Heath, the cityscape melted away, replaced by sprawling greenery. The expanse of grass beneath my feet seemed to stretch on endlessly, punctuated by clusters of trees and winding paths. From this vantage point, London lay below like a miniature world, its skyline etched against the horizon. A gentle breeze carried the scent of earth and wildflowers, while the distant sounds of city life faded into a tranquil hum. Here, amid nature's embrace, time slowed, allowing me to immerse myself fully in the serene beauty of this ancient heath.
