#timetotravel
The bustling Haeundae area is the Central Business District of Busan, and also serves as the main tourist spot. The Haeundae Beach is always the main area where tourists go due to the beautiful beach front, nice restaurants, cafes and hotels. Even in weekdays, you see many tourists around in the day time, not to mention night time and weekend where tourists from all over the countries flocking to this place. Tiger Tendon in Busan Haeundae
#timetotravel
Ever wonder how this shop get its name, Tiger Tendon? Well no one knows, maybe this shop is famous for serving tempura tiger prawns on rice bowl. During lunch time, this outlet will be full of diners waiting to dine in this famous outlet. The standard Tiger Tendon comes with 2 shrimps, 1 chicken, Pumpkin slice, Eggplant, mushroom and green chilli. Add on is available for shrimp and vegetables. The tempura is fried moderately without excess oil and the saltiness is also moderate. The shrimp is very fresh with a little sweetness in it. Typically one of the best Tempura rice bowl in Busan.
Beach day out with locals
If you happen to visit korea, love beaches, crowds and local vibes, Haeundae beach is a place you have to check out.
Floats and boat rentals are available here so you can rent even if you did not bring them along.
1.5km long, this is also one which i walked from start to end, chilling and relaxing with the folks.
it is also a place easily accessible by public transport.
Busan’s best beach, Haeundae Beach 🏝️🌞🌊
I’m not surprised Haeundae beach frequently tops lists of best things to do in Busan - its stunning! Easily accessible on the metro, head to Haeundae stop and take exit 3 or 5.
The beach is very nice, the sand is smooth and the water is very clean. There are sections to rent sun beds, umbrellas and rubber rings - the prices are very reasonable and you can pay by cash, card or online. Online being the cheapest - the price list is in one of the pictures.
There are so many food streets between the beach and the metro, you can leave your stuff at your sunbeds and go to eat it’s very safe.
There are plenty of 7/11 and skincare shops for suncream, coffee shops and restaurants.
The beach also has toilets, changing rooms and lockers for a fee.
Most importantly the whole beach is manned by lifeguards so it’s perfect for families and large
groups as it’s very safe. We did a few hours in the morning and left after lunch before it got too hot and busy.

Busan is ready for world expo 2030🔥
This is the famous Haeundae beach and the world expo garden in Busan💙
The world expo graden is constructed so damn beautifully! This is like a passage with walking trails on both sides and in between this majestic garden. It starts with the 7 heart-shaped flower rings, then parallel flower blocks with a very wide variety of different species of flowers, then a big flower wheel, a heart made with grass and flowers on the ground and finally the Busan expo logo.
There were some flowers which I have never seen, they looked so pretty and unique🤩
After crossing the garden, you will reach the Haeundae beach! Its a beautiful and clean beach, a really big one surrounded by high rise buildings. We managed to see the sunset and enjoy the view, the waves, the night lighting and the relaxing atmosphere! There are water sports available as well here including but not limited to kayaking, surfing, motor boats, banana boats, etc
At Haeundae beach you will find different cuisine restaurants like Indian, Brazilian, Arabic, Mexican, Italian, Korean (obviously) and many more!
A must visit place in Busan!

The Haeundae Sand Festival was a successful ✨️ event, and the World Sand Sculpture Exhibition will continue until June!
I went to the 2023 Haeundae Sand Festival last Saturday. Unfortunately, the festival only lasted for three days, but the World Sand Sculpture Exhibition is still on display until June 6th, so you can enjoy it for a little longer. How about visiting Haeundae during the Golden Week? 🩵
The sand sculptures were perfectly detailed! As a global tourist destination, there were many foreign visitors, proving once again that Haeundae is the place to be! 🩵
Moreover, I was thrilled to discover the Trip.com logo carved into one of the sand sculptures! There was even a booth, but there were so many people that I couldn't see it properly 😂. The festival was fantastic, with congratulatory performances and waterboard shows!
Come to Busan this Golden Week and enjoy the hydrangeas and sand sculpture exhibition! 🩵

In Busan's Haeundae Songrim Park, May hydrangeas are blooming 💐🌳.
Last Saturday (5/20) I went to the Haeundae Sand Festival and stumbled upon a hydrangea flower path! The Haeundae Songrim Park hydrangeas, which start near the Westin Chosun Beach, are so beautiful 🩷
Seeing the summer flower hydrangeas blooming already makes me wonder if it's hotter than usual these days 😂 The colors are so vivid and the various baby hydrangeas blooming make me anticipate how beautiful it will be when they are in full bloom 💜
It's not a very short walk, so it's perfect to take a stroll and enjoy the flowers while chatting 🩷

The best way to enjoy Busan’s beaches 🏝️
Don’t miss this lovely little train ride called Sky Capsule when you visit Haeundae Beach in Busan 🏖️☀️. With a 30-min ride from Mipo to Cheongsapo station, you will enjoy nice views of beaches in Busan. The capsule can fit up to 4 people so don’t worry if you are traveling with your couple or as a group of friends.
Once you get off at Cheongsapo station, you can continue the other train called Beach Train which will take you further to another 3 (or 4 if I am not mistaken 🤣) stations to enjoy another 30 minutes of sea view. Coolest beach im Busan
During my last visit to Haeundae Beach in Busan last October, I had an incredible experience meeting some lovely people. One of the highlights of my trip was taking a walk along the Green Walk, a beautiful promenade that offers stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding landscape. Along the way, I had the opportunity to explore the nearby restaurants and seafood market, where I tasted some of the freshest and most delicious seafood I've ever had. But what made the experience truly memorable was the chance to chat with some of the locals and other travelers. We exchanged stories and recommendations for things to see and do in the area, and it was a great reminder of how travel can bring people together from all different backgrounds and cultures. Overall, my visit to Haeundae Beach was a fantastic experience that I won't soon forget.

Don’t miss out on Haeundae in winter! 🌊
Of course the air is chilly so bring a jacket, but the skies are clear and the water is so blue. The fresh air and beach walk was just what we needed after filling our bellies with delicious seafood! The short pier is a great place to take a few shots 📸 If you’re not up to walking on the sand, just a few meters up the hill near blue line park there is a boardwalk to walk along the beach with beautiful views of the ocean and the forest. #southkorea #busan #yearofrabbit #beachlife #haeundaebeach
Never get bored with this place! Make sure to visit Haeundae Beach, to see the romantic sunset view, street performances, play some games, and their amazing foods!
Haeundae Sand Art
#artshunting
Haeundae beach is located in Busan city and is one of the most popular tourist destinations.
Every year, the Haundae Sand Festival is held and artists create different sculptures using sand. Located outdoors, this place creates a wonderful atmosphere with the breeze of the sea. It is very enjoyable to see these artistic structures created by artists.
If you want to visit the one in 2023. You can plan to come to Busan in late May or early June.

Sun’s out, zombies gone!
Didn’t expect Busan to have this Wow factor! 2.5hrs on a high speed train from Seoul to Busan not expecting to be amazed by the beauty!
Sunny enough for a tan session, and breezy enough to not drop a sweat! Got some drinks and snacks from a nearest convenient store and hopped on a bus to Haeundae beach.
Lots of beach visitors enjoying their stroll and spotted some cute puppies and pets out on their joy walk along the beach!
PS: no zombies were found
Nice and clean beache

If one get to visit Busan, Haeundae beach is definitely one of the Must-see places !!! Wide, clean and beautiful beach! Best part of all is that it can be reach by subway line 2 and get of at Haeundae station, exit 5. From there you walk for around 400 meters, and there you will see the beach.
The beach is around 1.5 kilometer long and 30-50 meters wide. So you can really enjoy walking along the beach with the beautiful scenery of the sea. The beach is one of the most famous beaches as well as the most popular vacation destinations even among Koreans.

A taste of Dimsum at Haeundae
Haeundae area of Busan is the top notch porsche area of Busan where one can find much international cuisine, as well as nice beach. This little dimsum outlet at Haeundae serves authentic dimsum from Hong Kong, where the main chef operating the shop used to work at 2 Michelin started restaurant in Hong Kong (Chef Fung Kwun Tung)
There are many varieties of dim sum to choose from such as Siu Mai, Ha Kaw, Char Siew Bao, Wanton noodles etc etc to be chose from. The taste is very authentic considered myself as frequent dimsum consumer. Do be mindful to make a reservation online before visiting as one is expected to wait 30-45 mins in line if taking number on the spot.

Weekend Trip to Haeundae Beach
• Where to stay: Haeundae MS Hotel (271 Haeundaehaebyeon-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea). It's right across the street from the beach and right next to the main strip with all the bars and restaurants. Second pic is the view from our room. Rates weren't bad and the rooms were nice and clean.
• Must Try Breakfast Spot: Liangwang (78 Gwangnam-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan, South Korea). It's a small place but the food is amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our cab driver dropped us on the wrong street so we called the restaurant and someone came out to find us.
• Places to See/Things to Do:
- Gamcheon Culture Village (200 Gamnae 1(il)-ro, Saha-gu, Busan, South Korea)
- DUF Coffee (195 Gamnae 1(il)-ro, Saha-gu, Busan, South Korea)
- Busan Air Cruise (124-1 Amnam-dong, Seo-gu, Busan, South Korea)
- Museum DAH (20 Centumseo-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea)
• If you're able to, I highly suggest using Kakao T (taxi app) to get around. Just make sure to have won for payment if you don't have a credit card linked to your account.
