#Glenveagh National Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Glenveagh National Park
By far one of the nicest national parks i've ever been to. Glenveagh national park is located in Donegal County, Ireland. To get here, you have no other option but to drive. The walk to the castle is very nice and the garden is simply beautiful! You can rent a bike at the start as you walk into the park which makes moving around faster. I would definitely visit back Glenveagh national park if I return to Ireland again. Highly recommended! It’s also free admissions, so always feel free to wonder around! #nationalpark #urbanexplorer

trip to glenveagh national park, ireland
Lovely day to take a ride on rented bikes to the national park in ireland.
The park is lush green with the sign of autumn and it's beautiful lake surrounding the castle.
The castle has a rich history of people with great taste of art and culture.
Glenveagh National Park contains two Statutory Nature Reserves, Lough Barra Bog and Meenachullion Bog, and forms the core area of the Cloghernagore Bog and Glenveagh National Park European Special Area of Conservation and the Derryveagh and Glendowan Mountains European Special Protection Area.#glenveagh
