#celebratewithtrip
A visit to NYC is incomplete without checking out the unobstructed panoramic views of the city from the iconic Empire State Building. On a clear day, you can see up to five states from the Observation Decks - New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
The Views is from the 86th floor where you can find the observatory deck . This is the highest open-air observatory in all of New York and offers 360 degree unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline.
16 floors above the Main Deck lies the Top Deck which offers an even better, but enclosed unlike the open air main deck.
Tip : go on weekday where the line is shorter.

❓Did you know the Empire State Building in New York was finished in record time?
ℹ️ Planning and construction of the Empire State Building took just 20 months from start to finish. As many as 3,400 men were used each day.
Unlike many projects, the Empire State Building was finished ahead of schedule and under budget, but it also came with a human cost as some workers were killed during the construction process.
The views from the 360 observation deck are amazing, you should visit. You can see some of the greatest landmarks and buildings on Manhattan Island but also you could see far enough to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

#bucketlistreboot
Construction of the Empire State Building begins on March 17, 1930. Occupying a central spot on Fifth Avenue, it is to be the world’s first 100+ story building. This one building that appears on postcards, in movies and features in many documentaries as a feat of engineering for its time, had to be visited.
This is where the 1933 “King Kong” putting the Empire State Building front-and-centre for one of cinema’s most famous films. As it turns out, there are many skyscrapers in New York but only one has this prime position with a 360 view deck for tourists.
The view encompassed some of the greatest landmarks and buildings on Manhattan Island but also you could see far enough to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Although not sure if it’s understandable from the photos, but the sunny part of the observation deck was manageable in terms of temperature, as soon as you went on the shady side it was the North Pole. So cold, you had to put your scarf and gloves. Hence most of our photos were taken from the sunny side of the deck.
Checkinaway (@checkinawayblog) EMPIRE STATE - in my mind.
The symbol of big apple is Empire state building. Observatory, interior, statues, souvenirs, view are all perfect. New York is an expensive city but seeing it from above is priceless. Highly recommended.

The Empire State Building in New York is the best choice to watch the sunset. Each city has a landmark building, such as the three artifacts of Shanghai, the Elphi Tower in Paris, the Tokyo Tower, etc. 🏙
The most famous buildings in New York are The Empire State Building is located in Manhattan. It has a prime location and is located at a high place. You can see the whole picture of New York. If you come to the Empire State Building, I recommend that you wait until sunset to watch the sun go down a little bit. Feel the prosperity of New York.👏
The Empire State Building is from Shreve
Board the famous movie and take a look at the top of the Empire State Building to see the beautiful skyline!
The film "Beijing meets Seattle", I think there should be many people who have seen this relatively hot mainland movie a few years ago. Just looking at the movie name, I don't think how to get to New York. Wen Jiajia, who plays Tang Wei in the movie, is also a scene in the movie "Sleepless in Seattle": the male and female lords finally met on the Empire State Building and made a positive result, a touching and happy love story. So it is necessary to go to the top floor of the Empire State Building to see it.
"Beijing meets Seattle" is also a romantic love that continues the "Sleepless Night in Seattle", and the final filming is placed in the Empire State Building.
Empire State Building, there will never be so rare tourists! The floor of the observation deck is all human. The time period I chose was in the evening, before sunset. Because I want to see the sunset from there and change from day to night, the time is quite long. Good luck, I didn't have a lot of people waiting in line that day, and I got the doorway in the normal queue. I used the ticket of [city pass] directly to queue up, and the team quickly arrived at the elevator. When there are many people, often when you want to move around, you will be blocked by people who come and go. Because the location on the balcony is full of people who are watching and waiting for them to read the space they want to occupy.
I am the one who wants to take up the space. But luck is really good, I think those tourists are also very heart-felt and will not deliberately occupy a position for a long time, so you can take pictures on the side for a while.

After arriving in New York, I learned some things
🌃 New York is not just Manhattan
New York has 5 boroughs, and Manhattan is just one of them. In Flushing, Queens, you don't need to speak English, Chinese is more prevalent; Brooklyn is the birthplace of hip-hop; and once you leave Manhattan, it feels like you're in another world. Try to avoid the Bronx if you can
🛫️ New York has 3 airports, don't get them mixed up
Flights to and from New York domestically mostly use John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK); United Airlines' domestic flights to New York mainly land at Newark Airport (EWR); and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) is primarily for domestic flights within the US and is closer to Manhattan
🚗 In the US, it's tough to get around without a car, except in New York
New York has a 24-hour subway system and extensive bus routes, and taxis and Uber are also very convenient, unlike other American cities where driving is a must. However, New York's subway is indeed synonymous with being dirty and disorganized
🚽 In New York, restrooms are not readily available everywhere
If you come across a restroom in a mall or museum, don't miss it, go right away, otherwise, it's hard to find one. There are very few restrooms in subway stations
🎭 Watching a Broadway show doesn't have to be expensive
Buying tickets online in advance isn't always cheaper, and it might be more cost-effective to buy same-day tickets at the door, especially if you have a student ID
👟 In New York, please wear comfortable shoes
citywalk is the best way to discover New York, the distance between famous landmarks on Manhattan Island is neither too close nor too far, you really need a pair of comfortable shoes for the tens of thousands of steps you'll take in a day
🌃 The view of the Empire State Building is better from Rockefeller Center, but you should still visit the Empire State Building
Being in it may not give you the full view of the Empire State Building, but going to the top is more about sentiment and desire. Many believe that at the Empire State Building, you can encounter love, or reunite!
☕️ The kind of coffee shop in 'Friends' really exists
An unfamiliar environment can make one feel lonely, but at certain moments, it can remind you of scenes from American TV shows, which feels warm even though you've never met. But in New York, it's more about feeling lonely, getting used to loneliness, and enjoying loneliness
🏛️ Please reserve at least one day for museums
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Natural History Museum, MoMA, and other museums are worth spending more time to experience art
🤹♂️ The NPCs on the streets of New York all cost money
'Movie characters' and 'cartoon figures' coming over to take photos with you will charge you, don't be deceived by the false 'enthusiasm'. The CDs and lucky strings that street guys hand you are not free either

New York City Skyline from Empire State Bldg
First time visiting New York City? If yes, a must-to-do is visiting the Empire State Building’s observatory deck to have glimpse of the massive yet impressive New York City skyline. The building is just a few blocks away Time Square. I suggest to book it ahead online like what I did. It can get very busy, crowded, and long queues. Inside the building you also can see an exhibit about its construction.

A day @Empire State Building - New York
Amazing art deco building absolutely loved it inside and out. The building is so beautiful and has been respectfully modernised so that you can barely notice.
The journey to the observatory has a wealth of historical information on the construction and foundations of the building which is hugely interesting.
The staff are there at every step, helpful and polite and courteous. Would highly recommend a visit for everyone and of course the stop at the gift shop. Fabulous day out.

Empire State Building
The first attraction to visit in New York, the Empire State Building offers a panoramic view of the entire city! Its name comes from the nickname of New York State - Empire State.
The Empire State Building was built during the Western economic crisis, once the tallest building in the world, and became a symbol of the US economic recovery. Today, it still stands as a slender and eternal symbol alongside the Statue of Liberty.
The color of the light on the top of the building will change due to time or major events, such as the blue light that was lit for 3 months after the 91 incident to show mourning.
The building has a total of 102 floors. The observation decks on the 86th and 102nd floors not only offer a panoramic view of New York, but also a partial view of four nearby states.
The observation deck on the 86th floor is divided into indoor and outdoor areas, and is the highest open-air observation deck in New York. It has been used as a filming location for many movies and TV dramas. The indoor observation deck is on the 102nd floor.
