The Drayton Court Hotel is located in Ealing, London, at 2 The Avenue Ealing. The hotel is right next to West Ealing Station, and it only takes 12 minutes by train to get to central London, so the location is very convenient. We chose this place mainly because it is far from the hustle and bustle of the city center, and we wanted to find some peace and quiet in the city. The hotel has a very distinctive decor, retaining the classic English style while modernizing the interior of the rooms with all the technological equipment. We felt the warm and friendly service as soon as we arrived at the hotel. The receptionist was very nice, and although she couldn't upgrade our room, she did her best and still made us feel the enthusiasm of the service. The room experience was really satisfying. We stayed in a Blue Lamp Room, which was quiet and spacious. The bedroom had a bathroom and a separate lounge, which was a big surprise! The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable, so we slept very well at night. The shower and bathtub in the bathroom were very nice, and every time we took a shower, it was like a relaxing experience. Breakfast was very plentiful, with a variety of options such as cereals, juices, and toast, and we were very satisfied every morning. We especially recommend their yogurt with fresh fruit, which is both healthy and delicious. There are also many restaurants around the hotel, such as Rice Persian Kitchen, W5 Bar and Kitchen, and The New Inn. Our favorite was The Royal Harvester, which offers delicious English cuisine and is perfect for tasting local food. Of course, the only downside is that the breakfast service at the hotel can be a bit slow at times, especially during busy times. But the staff at the hotel are very nice, and even when they are busy, they are still smiling and very friendly. The streets are lined with historic red brick buildings, and the staggered roofs are covered with moss, showing a unique historical charm. Walking on the cobblestone path, you will pass by a cozy antique shop or workshop from time to time, and the owner will warmly greet passers-by. I tasted authentic British fish and chips in a local pub, accompanied by a glass of dark beer, and my heart was filled with happiness. Before leaving, we had a picnic in the riverside park, enjoying a moment of tranquility and experiencing the charming style of the British countryside.

Ealing Common is a large open space in Ealing, West London. It preserves a large area of open space with fine avenues of horse chestnut trees, most of which were planted in the late Victorian period. The northern part of the Ealing Common has a large English oak tree at its centre, and London plane trees are also found with the horse chestnuts around the perimeter of the Ealing Common. It is nice to walk there in the afternoon. Not many people, quiet and beautiful! In the south-west corner of Ealing Common there is a small park, called Warwick Dene, with rose beds at its centre.
