Truly the Happiest Place on Earth?
Disneyland, the place that bears so much significance and importance to everyone’s childhood. Growing up, it would have been difficult to not have watched a single Disney cartoon or any of its movies. The iconic Mickey Mouse, Nemo, the Disney Princesses, Lightning McQueen…I could go on and on.
Visiting here during the December holiday season is really as peak as it can be, and the ticket prices speak for itself. A whopping SGD300-ish per person. That’s not including the parking fees and cost of overnight accommodations. But flying here from half way across the world, how could I miss it? So here I was, entering the park at 730am (before it even officially opened), waiting for the themed lands to open, playing to my hearts content for the next 16 hours while constantly strategising on which ride to go for next, before finally leaving the park only at 1am.
Top tip:
When prices are this high, you should really consider getting the FastPass to get your money’s worth and avoid wasting your time in line!

To me, Hong Kong is a place that offers an eclectic mix of culture, outdoors, nightlife, food and history! I want to travel to Hong Kong to view the skyline from Victoria Peak, trundle along and observe the city on the "Ding Ding", grab an afternoon tea at a local Char Chan Teng and...so much more! Hong Kong is more than just a city. It is the varied experiences that gets me excited that makes Hong Kong special to me~
Magical moment at Disneyland Park California
Went there in September 2023 and the crowds is acceptable. Looking for a great place to go for a family vacation or even just alone time this is it for you! Very clean, friendly staff, welcoming environment. Also very handicap friendly.
Lots to do for kids who are young and even to adults. Staff get into each area that they are working and are able to make it a great experience. Young daughters loved interacting with Disney princess who took the time to care and talk with them.

Disneyland Anaheim CA
It's great fun visiting Disneyland Anaheim CA. We bought 1 day ticket but it's too rush especially on peak period, so advised to get at least 2 days. We had chance to see the parades which is the best part of the visit. Overall, we had an amazing Disneyland vacation.
Address: 1313 Disneyland Dr, Anaheim, CA 92802, United States
Ticket: USD 104-179
Opening Hours: 8am-8pm

The Original Disney Park
Did you know that Disneyland California is the original Disney park built by Walt Disney? Depending where you’re from in the world you might assume that Florida is the original but in fact, the park in Anaheim was the first to be built.
It’s an amazing place steeped in Disney nostalgia and still has some of the original rides which opened back in 1955. An absolute must-visit for any Disney fan… the castle is smaller but it’s every bit as beautiful. #themepark #disney #disneyfun
The city of angels
Los Angeles in the United States is also known as “The City Of Angels” because its name literally means The Angels in Spanish. There are so many fun things to do here that you’ll probably need about five to seven days to properly visit all the key landmarks. You must definitely not missing going to Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood, both fantastic and massive theme parks that occupied us for a whole day each. Another place to go to is the Hollywood walk of fame to check out the hand and footprints of famous personalities. Lastly, if you’re into movies, grab a ticket at El Capitan theatre not only to enjoy the blockbuster but also the interesting architecture of the building.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

the #1 place on my childhood travel wishlist:
The happiest place on earth - Disneyland Los Angeles
everywhere is a photo taking opportunity! there are 2 theme parks in LA Disneyland, Disneyland park and Disneyland adventure park. I went to the Disneyland park because I’m a old school fairytale lover. I need to see the castle in person! but the famous themepark Farris wheel is also the main attraction in Disney adventure park. you can get the park hopper pass if you’ve enough time. each park needs at least 1 day or more if you really want to cover every hook and cranny of Disney. there are so many parks. the newest one is Star Wars but my fav is Disney town where Mickey and Minnie are at every turn. I love the Mickey Mouse silhouette so much. for every Mickey fan, you need to visit Disneyland park.
I have been to Disney in HK, Paris and Japan’s Disney Sea but I feel the first Disneyland built by Walt is definitely the most special of all.

Disneyland Anaheim
what a magical place this is, the castle show in the evening is fantastic. we visited for three days and went on all the rides. our favourite being Guardians of the galaxy and drop ride with some amazing tunes. the food was amazing and I’d recommend the hotel buffet in the California adventure hotel the chicken tenders are to die for. other rides we enjoyed was the incredible coaster in the rain was really refreshing, the new web slingers was fun my partner beat me every time and Toy Story mania. there was a lot of hype for Rise of the Resistance but once rode it seemed a little tame. but it did feel like you were in the move.
Theme park for everyone
Address - Disneyland Park, 1313 Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, Los Angeles, California 92802, United States Of America
If you are travelling to Los Angeles in the United States, this is one attraction you cannot afford to miss. This is the original version of the very first Disneyland and is as authentic as it gets.
There is a nice mixture of ride intensities, with some being highly thrilling but most of them are actually very kid-friendly. Not to mention the Disney parade at the end of the day culminating in a firework showcase. Fun day!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love Disney! I know this is suppose to be a children place but one must admit it is truly the happiest place on earth. I have been to Disney Tokyo and Hong Kong. This round was my first time come here - Disneyland in Anaheim, California. I was thrilled to visit this original Disneyland Park. Everything was spotless, entrance line moved quickly and without delays, and the foods found in the park were exceptional. It was definitely a wonderful experience. I highly recommend the place.

What a beautiful place to have fun.
If you go on a weekday, you will still be able to take a lot of good photos. If you go on weekends there will be more fun activities.
In terms of buying tickets, you should buy tickets in advance to enjoy special offers or promotions or dresses for children and the elderly.
Public transportation is also very convenient, you just need to search on Google map or ask anyone to go here very easily. We had genie but still we had to wait for long time and at some point we weren’t able to make reservation.
Download their app in advance so that you can book the MaxPass

the macarons at planet was so darn cute! honestly, I preferred the Disneyland adventure park (the one beside) as it entailed more excitement. But if you only had 1 day, and u want to relief your childhood, just come to the OG Disneyland park! Rides are a little childish (rightfully so as it caters to the younger crowd), but there are a few rides that still satisfy the adult in you! #themepark #mustvisit

It has always been my dream to visit Disneyland in USA and I finally manage to visit it. It was a tough decision between going to Disneyland Park in Anaheim in California or Walt Disney World in Florida. In the end, I decided to visit Disneyland Park in Anaheim as I had friends there.
Unfortunately, due to a missing luggage delay, I ended up visiting Disneyland Park in the afternoon only. Luckily the park closed late that day and I was staying at my friend’s place which was a short 20 min ride away.
Do note that it take more than an hour to reach Disneyland Park in Anaheim if you plan to stay in Los Angeles and travel from there. Would recommend that you stay in a hotel in Anaheim instead.
Due to the time constraint, I focus on Star Wars : Galaxry’s Edge instead. It was a reasonable big area which I spend quite a lot of time exploring the place and there were many interesting stuffs to see and lots of photos to take.
I even managed to get a diy R2-D2 figure which was unfortunately too bulky for my trip (I ended up shipping it back home).
I did saw the fireworks that night which happen to be Halloween theme and the park was very crowded.
I would love to come back and spend more time visiting this park in future.

Being an avid WDW fan, we chose to try a new park this year because the Halloween party at WDW had been significantly stripped back due to Covid. While Disneyland itself was charming and very walkable, the operations lacked in several areas:
Ticketing: the use of cell phones and paper tickets considerably slows down lines compared to magic bands. Each time we entered there was an issue ranging from devices running out of battery or running out of paper for ticket printing. Each time it added another 5-10 minute delay. Once we had to change turnstiles twice putting us late for a Rise of the Resistance boarding group.
Ride breakdowns: throughout the course of the day, you could watch open attractions going into “temporarily closed” status. Multiple times we waited in 45+ minute lines to have the ride breakdown as we were boarding (Indiana Jones, Roger Rabbit). Nothing was offered to us for the lost time and inconvenience.
Limited food offerings/timed mobile ordering: several kiosks weren’t open and the restaurant menus in PDF showed several more options than available in the app. If you didn’t plan lunch ahead for an hour or more, you couldn’t find anything but popcorn or cookies to eat.
No increased sanitation noticeable: beyond the hand sanitizing stations which were empty by early afternoon, I saw no increased sanitation or social distancing on a ride. None. This was very concerning to us. Masks were not consistently enforced and there were large gaps in areas where compliance was requested, eg She ace mountain has an indoor queue area that took twenty minutes to enter and leave and there were zero cast members or speaker announcements to wear a mask. Indiana Jones had three cast members throughout the queue reminding people to mask up.
