Getting back to the point, what attracted me most to the Qinghai Provincial Museum was definitely the rich painted pottery culture. The mysterious and simple patterns painted on the vessels are captivating. The aesthetics of our ancestors from four or five thousand years ago transcend time and space, echoing contemporary abstract art. This blend of ancient and modern is truly wonderful. Finally, I highly recommend that every museum establish civilized viewing supervisors to advise those loud, inconsiderate visitors who answer phone calls and pretend to understand everything.
