As someone who travels to Hainan every year, I sincerely want to offer some advice to those who are planning to visit Wanning soon!! 1️⃣ Before traveling to Wanning, be sure to check the weather. Hainan is like spring all year round, and the weather and humidity are the most important factors that will directly affect your travel experience. 2️⃣ It is currently the off-season, and after May Day until the 7th, the prices for flights and hotels generally decrease, so book your tickets to Wanning in advance. 3️⃣ Wanning does not have an airport, so you can choose to land in Sanya or Haikou and then take a high-speed train directly to Wanning. It is recommended to arrive at Shenzhou Station, which is closer to the scenic area hotels. 4️⃣ The attractions in Wanning are scattered, and it is a very chill coastal city. It is recommended to visit one attraction per day to fully enhance your experience. 5️⃣ For accommodation, you can choose homestays in Riyue Bay or hotels in Shenzhou Peninsula/ Shimei Bay. Depending on your budget, Riyue Bay is more crowded and noisy, while the two bays' hotels are quieter and more suitable for a vacation. 6️⃣ Riyue Bay is a must-visit, a gathering place for handsome guys and beautiful girls. Recommended internet-famous spots: Haimen Coconut Grove, Grom Cafe, 216 Bar. 7️⃣ The nightlife in Riyue Bay is more suitable for young people. In the evening, you can go to Haimen Street, where many trendy men and women gather in small bars, and the seaside is also lively with many people taking their children to catch seafood. 8️⃣ The Sunac Chapel is particularly photogenic, the same church as in the TV series 'Summer Flowers', facing the garden and backed by the sea, with a very high photo success rate. 9️⃣ The evening in Shenzhou Peninsula is not to be missed. Corona Sunset Bar or the lighthouse are excellent spots for sunset photography, and you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Coconut Palm Road. 🔟 Qiaohai Ranch is a must-visit on a sunny day. With light-colored clothing and sufficient sunlight, you can take amazing photos in minutes! 1️⃣1️⃣ The Hard Bar in Shimei Bay is a must-visit. Ladies should prepare a set of pink outfits, which are really fitting for the scene and great for taking beautiful photos. 1️⃣2️⃣ Shanqin Bay should be visited during the high tide period from 2-4 pm. When the waves are big, whether at Swallow Cave or on the rocks, the photos turn out particularly well. 1️⃣3️⃣ The cost of living in Xinglong Town, Wanning, is really not high. If you want to try Hainanese snacks, be sure to take a stroll there.
