Hainan Winter Travel Guide

Hello everyone👋🏻, this is xyiyiy~ I'm back from Wanning, and my mind is still full of sunshine, coconut groves, beaches, and the sea. It's so joyful to laze around by the seaside! Here's a summary of my personal travel experience for your reference. Wanning is really suitable for a slow-paced and leisurely visit! 1、✈️To visit Wanning, you can fly to either Sanya or Haikou. If you want to visit Sanya as well, you can fly there first, stay for a few days, then head to Wanning, and return from Haikou. This way, the flight tickets might be cheaper. 2、The weather in Wanning next week is still quite warm (it's colder these days, not recommended to come, but it will warm up later❗️❗️), with temperatures between 20°~26°. Prepare summer clothes, a light jacket, comfortable slippers, and flat shoes (you can bring a jacket too)🌟 3、🌊The seaside has strong waves, wind, and ultraviolet rays, so remember to keep warm and protect yourself from the sun! Bring a sun hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to take good sun protection measures. 4、When in Wanning, you must stay in a sea-view room at least once. Pushing open the window to see the blue sky and sea is really blissful! If you're on a budget, stay in a sea-view apartment; if you have more to spend, stay at the Sheraton, which is within walking distance to the beach. 5、Snacks you must try in Wanning: Qingbu Liang, Mianmian Ice, Shrimp Cakes, Fish Tea, Mango Rice Rolls, Lingshui Sour Powder, Coconut Rice Cakes, Coconut Wine, etc.🌟🌟🌟 6、Main meals you must try in Wanning: Crab Hut Seafood, Old Qiongzhou Maplewood Aromatic Duck, Tai Qiong Zao Vinegar Hot Pot, Farmer's Dongshan Goat & Coconut Chicken, Huananbao, etc.🌟🌟🌟 7、Visit the Men'er Coffee to experience the rainforest wild coffee, breathe in the fresh air with the sounds of insects and birds, enjoy a cup of coffee, and enjoy the good times of the holiday. 8、Go surfing at Riyue Bay🏄 and be a 'wave rider' for half a day. Hire a professional coach for basic training, and even beginners can easily get on the board to ride the waves. 9、Of course, island vacations come with sea outings!🚤 Take a speedboat out to sea, head to the beautiful and less crowded Jiajing Island, unlock deep diving photography, jet skiing, power surfing, and many other water activities. There's so much to do that you won't want to stop~ 10、Renting a car and driving along the coastal road is really exhilarating. There are many coffee carts along the way where you can stop for photos. 11、In Shimei Bay, there's a popular bookstore--Phoenix Jiuli Book House, known as 'Hainan's most beautiful bookstore'. The bookstore is right by the sea, and stepping out the door, you're on the beach. 12、Not recommended❗️ to visit Xinglong Tropical Botanical Garden and Bali Village, as the attractions are average. Qiaohai Ranch has a low grass coverage, and Yanzi Cave in Shanqin Bay is remote and hard to find, just a small cave by the sea. 13、Riyue Bay's main street faces the sea, with restaurants, cafes, bars, and surf shops all concentrated here. Surf and drink coffee during the day, and enjoy drinks and fireworks at night. 14、Tianxin Village is a small village behind Riyue Bay, with designer homestays, coffee shops, and restaurants. It's cheaper than the bay area, and you can rent a small electric scooter to explore. 15、The Fairy Pool waterfall is fun, with small waterfalls and pools, and it's a good place to cool off in the summer. However, do not jump into the water as there are many rocks below, which is dangerous. Coming out of Riyue Bay and taking the coastal road, there is an artificial Sunac Island on the left and right, and the seaside church is here! It's recommended to go before sunset after 5 pm for amazing photos📷
