Wat Asokaram

Wat Asokaram is a place for practicing Vipassana meditation. The origin of the name 'Asokaram' means a delightful place free from sorrow. The surrounding area of the temple is filled with lush trees and various kinds of flora. The highlight of this place is the Phra That Tangka Chedi, which is a group of 13 stupas symbolizing the 13 practices of Buddhist asceticism. Each stupa contains holy Buddhist relics and is very beautiful. Additionally, there is the Vihara Visuddhithammaransi, a three-story octagonal building with a golden spire that houses holy Buddhist relics. Inside the vihara, there is a replica of the Phra Phuttha Chinnarat for visitors to worship.
