Xinjiang | Experience the snow-capped mountains in early spring

Feel the different temperature of spring in southern Xinjiang. 1️⃣ Location: Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County in Kashgar, Southern Xinjiang 2️⃣ Attractions: Panlong Ancient Path, Wakhan Corridor, Warrior Mountain, Stone City, Why Flowers Are So Red, White Sand Lake, Muztagh Glacier Park, Bandier Blue Lake, Oytag Red Valley... 3️⃣ Transportation: It is recommended to rent a car for travel, the price is very affordable. For the four of us, the total cost for three days was about 700 per person❕ (Joining a tour group costs about 800 per person for two days) Renting a car is more appropriate. 4️⃣ Accommodation: Book in advance on the app, many homestays have similar prices, they are basically self-built houses but the interior is completely hotel-style, the conditions are not bad at all. 5️⃣ Dining: For the first visit to Tashkurgan, you can try the local specialty 'Yak Hotpot', which is not very expensive. It is recommended to book on the app, as there is some difference from the menu prices in the restaurant. For breakfast, there are many breakfast shops offering steamed buns, pan-fried dumplings, spicy soup, etc. (if you are not used to the local breakfast). There are also barbecue restaurants, pepper chicken, and so on, all very complete. 6️⃣ Tips: It is advised to bring more clothes, as the temperature at some attractions is just right, but! The temperature in Muztagh Glacier Park is very low, extremely cold, minus thirteen degrees! It is recommended to bring your own oxygen bottles (there is a price difference compared to those sold outside the attractions).
