Jubilee Year aka SG50

Not sure about you, out of all years of Singapore, SG50 gave me the deepest memory since I was born... We have Jubilee baby with special birth cert where the logo is in colored version instead of the usual blue outline, all SG babies were also given a gift pack and our NDP parade formed 50 during their air show. But sadly, it was also the year of passing of our former Prime Minister where many gathered and queue to pay our last respect. People call us patriotic but how many countries have their people loving them and willing to be patriotic minimally once a year? Celebrating as a nation is not easy, preparation starts immediately after the closing ceremony of one. We have our NSmen, regulars and many who are slogging their guts out and have their weekend burn just for a day of celebration.
