Paigang Village in Qionghai makes a big impression right from the start

Hainan celebrates the New Year, exploring 'Open the Door to the Sea' in Bo'ao Paigang Village. The idea of spending the New Year in Hainan and its realization brought us to Bo'ao, which is especially comfortable and indeed suitable for 'retirement living'. After a day of intense walking yesterday, we also visited the 'off-the-beaten-path' attraction—Paigang Village. Paigang Village is particularly suitable for photography; a casual snap results in a great shot. Walking through Tanmen Village and Paigang Village, with the narrow sea inlet dividing the area into the northern Tanmen and the southern Paigang, one side features the ancient dock while the other is a rising popular spot for checking in on social media. Both highlight ecological fisheries and natural scenery, which are quite distinctive. The Tanmen seafood market and the seafood restaurants are superb, especially the corner shrimp—so delicious! Probably because it's mainly fresh, and the prices are very reasonable (much cheaper than in Beijing). The villagers here are very down-to-earth and exceptionally nice. Paigang, by contrast, is relatively quiet, more like a hidden paradise, suitable for strolling and taking photos~
