Journey to the Center of the Earth: Pingtang Tiandong

🚗 Driving through Guizhou💨 We set off from Guiyang and drove for nearly 2 hours to Pingtang County in Qiannan⛰️ First stop📍Pingtang Tiandong We booked tickets in advance on Trip.com, about 600 RMB per person (no age limit), including cave exploration experience + flat belt + speed reduction experience. We made a phone reservation the day before. The last group gathers at 2:30 PM⏰️ Don’t be late‼️ Pingtang Tiandong is a purely natural dry karst cave, with a constant temperature of 16-18℃ all year round, very comfortable to the touch. The cave exploration experience lasts 3-4 hours🔜 Friendly reminders💕 ‼️ Make sure to use the restroom before putting on your gear, there are no restrooms inside🚾 ‼️ Travel light, just bring a bottle of mineral water + your phone ‼️ It’s best to rent a pair of sturdy shoes, otherwise your shoes will really get ruined Throughout the journey, follow the professional guide’s instructions, crawling and climbing. The difficulty level is not high; even a 4-year-old boy in our group managed to keep up, which was really impressive👍 Kids are always full of infinite possibilities✨ During the whole process, the guide leads the children at the front of the group, which helps with focused guidance and protection⚠️ and also allows the guide to explain the cave knowledge to the kids‼️ Over billions of years, from vast oceans, through mountain-building movements, karst landscapes formed, creating one mysterious cave after another. In the face of nature, humans are truly very small✨ When we reached the bottom of the cave, we sat quietly on the rocks, turned off the lights and all electronic devices. Everything seemed to pause⏸ We heard our own heartbeat and breathing💓 We heard the wind and dripping water inside the cave💧 I think this is the sound of the earth’s core🔉 When we walked out of the cave and saw the daylight🌥 it felt like returning to the real world, like seeing new hope✨ I think this extraordinary journey to the center of the earth⛰️🕳 is something we will always remember💕
