Tikehau Island is small atoll consists of countless small white and pink sand islets with coconut groves, located in French Polinesia (not in France!) in the middle of Pacific Ocean. It is a lagoon formed by an almost unbroken ring of continuous coral. The natural pool is 30 meters deep and create an aquarium with tremendous marine life. According to the marine researcher Jacques Cousteau, it has a higher concentration of fish than any other lagoon in French Polynesia, so diving and snorkeling are the two main attractions in Tikehau. Reef sharks, manta ray, tuna, snapper, barracuda, lionfish, clownfish and parrotfish.
