BEST PLACE FOR PIZZA: 🍕 - @piusud_matera unique pizzeria in a cave @5lire_matera for focaccia BEST THINGS TO DO: ✨ - Explore the beautiful streets of Sassi di Matera and visit the famous cathedral. -Grab a delicious ice cream at @cremes bureau or @ivizidegliangeli -Take a coffee in the beautiful streets of Sassi di Matera. -Visit the most famous cave church Santa Maria di Idris built in a huge rock. TIP: make sure to bring comfy shoes when exploring Matera. Combine your Puglia trip with Matera as it takes only approx 1h by car from Bari (65km) Tip: Matera is also great for a day trip but I recommend to stay at least one night (Rent a car when visiting Matera and Puglia).
