For the sake of these temple buildings, I made a special trip to Luang Prabang!

These landmarks must be on the city's business card! · · ▶️Xiangtong Temple ▫️Ticket: 8r ▫️Considered as one of the most popular temples in Luang Prabang, with magnificent and distinctive architecture, attracting many foreign tourists. Avoid peak hours for classic photo spots! ▶️The Palace Museum ▫️Ticket: 12r Indoor photography is prohibited. If you just want to visit the building, the best view is from the entrance steps of Puxi Mountain across the street. The benches there are also great for taking photos! Morning alms and evening night markets are also on this street~ ▶️Wat Mai Buddha Right next to the Palace Museum, there is a covered walkway with exquisite gold reliefs depicting rural life in Laos, and the architecture is also very distinctive~ ▶️Wat Visounarat ▫️Ticket: 8r ▫️One of the oldest temples in Luang Prabang, quite niche! The White Pagoda is very special, perfect for taking photos in the afternoon. ▶️Mahathat Temple ▫️Ticket: Free ▫️Entering through the main gate, you can shuttle to the riverside path. The front outer wall of the main hall is adorned with rare reliefs, and the blooming flowers overflowing the walls are very beautiful~ In the courtyard, there is a rare large Buddhist pagoda from Laos, quite special! ▶️Ta Loon Temple It is said that before 1975, this was the place where members of the royal family performed fire offerings. There are some white pagoda-shaped structures, and traditional temple architectural styles~ · · 📷Notes for visiting temples ▫️Dress appropriately, no bare shoulders/legs, preferably no flip flops.
