#Illumination 😊
Yomiuriland is hosting the largest-scale illumination in the Kanto region, “Jewellumination.” Featured popular nighttime-only shows and attractions include some of the largest-scale fountain shows in the country, a roller coaster shooting through the night sky like a falling star “Starlight Bandit,” and a Ferris wheel with a panoramic view of the night cityscape! Enjoy the amusement park decorated in sparkling Jewelry-colored lights!
Goodjoba!!” in Yomiuriland is an area themed after “monozukuri,” or Japanese craftsmanship. The area is made up of factories that reflect 4 familiar industries: Car, food, fashion, and bungu (stationery).
With beautiful palm trees and a beach-like shoreline, this pool will make you think feel like you’re at the water’s edge! A taste of the South Pacific in Tokyo♪ The fun is virtually endless at Yomiuriland’s Pool WAI!
Yomouri Land is such a magical place. The illumination was superb. They have have all these colorful huge balls, these water park effects, plus their illumination are of different colors. Nothing to say other than, it's absolutely magical there. The illumination is also just a cherry on top, because they also have roller coaster rides and the likes. 1-day pass costs ¥5000.

Kawasaki Daishi Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Beautiful scenery and exciting to see
If you enjoy visiting temples, this is a nice one to see. We went to visit the wind chime market and it was really nice! There is a street leading up to the entrance selling lots of Daruma souvenirs and food which is lovely to explore. The temple itself is in a big area so you can walk around the grounds.
The temple entrance is free, and the fortune slips and incense sticks both cost 100 yen, which is as cheap as these things get, so I am impressed by this aspect as well. Overall, I would absolutely recommend visiting this cultural gem for its magnificent architecture. It is also quite easy to reach from the centre of Tokyo, so it would be an easily available tourist attraction even for foreigners.

Kawasaki Daishi Temple
Kawasaki Daishi is a large Shingon Buddhist Temple located to the east of Kawasaki Station. It is one of the most important temples for the Chisan branch of Shingon Buddhism.

Buddhist Temple Kawasaki
This is a surprisingly large temple complex based around important historical figures of Buddhism in Japan. You can see several impressive historical buildings here, and you can read about them on pamphlets from the information centre, which are also available in English. There are also fortune slips and a place for burning the traditional bundles of incense sticks, which can be bought at a nearby stand. There were also some miscellaneous souvenirs available. If you want some traditional Japanese sweet, the shopping street that leads toward the main gate of the temple should satisfy your needs in this regard. The temple entrance is free, and the fortune slips and incense sticks both cost 100 yen, which is as cheap as these things get, so I am impressed by this aspect as well. If you love Doraemon comics, cartoon or films, it is the place you need to go. Booking the entrance via Loppi machine in Lawson convenient stores is the general way to get the tickets easily. Then just take the JR train to Noborito station and have the transit with the bus to museum directly.
The museum is not wide or spacious so that driving your cars is not recommended since it is hard to find the parking lots. Public transportation is the workable option for the tourists here. No photo shooting is allowed indoors. However, there are lots of famous icons outdoors for photo taken. You can enjoy the imagination and the creative decoration with kids and understand the original concept of Doraemon here. Since the museum is not big, it is more crowded in the afternoon. You may come here earlier in order to enjoy the interior facilities. Enjoy!
In 2024, I wan to visit this place again.
Japan Hokuriku Deep Tour - Searching for Doraemon's Hometown in Takayama City
Takaoka is a very small city in Japan. My wife and I traveled to Kansai and Hokuriku for a month this time. We came to Takaoka mainly to visit the exhibition hall of Fujiko F. Fujio and reminisce about our favorite childhood cartoon, Doraemon.
Stayed at a hotel next to the station and started walking slowly around the city in the morning. First went to the Gao Tang Buddha, then to the Ancient City Park. Surprisingly, the Ancient City Park is a free park with a free zoo inside. The Ancient City Park in mid-November is even more stunning, as the plants by the pond color the entire pond, and any photo taken with a mobile phone is a salon masterpiece.
Spent the morning playing in the park, had lunch and then went to the Fujiko F. Fujio Museum, and finally checked in at the Doraemon Park. Today we were lucky enough to see the famous Tateyama mountain range in the distance all day long. Managed to visit all the attractions just before it got dark. So happy!

This Place is amazing, a lot of nature, a traditional museums that keep records of the old ancient household village, their lifestyle. Strongly recommend to pay a visit if you’re interested into the history behind it. It cost 550Yen for adult, it’s worth paying!
The Park is huge, you might want to spend a day in here, there’s cafe and places for you to have lunch or a drink.
Tons of Vending machines, please remember to bring your own rubbish back home!
Ikuta Park
A park located on a hill top with a great panoramic view of Tokyo and Yokohama. The park is located a bit of a walk away from Mukogaoka-Yuen station. There’s an observation tower at the top of the mountain where you can view Mount Fuji on a clear day. This is a very popular attraction because it has a variety of features in one location.
In 2024, I want to come back here.

A park near Kawasaki station
Just west of Tokyo's busy Shinjuku station on the Odakyu Line's Mukogaokayuen station, is Kawasaki City. Ikuta Ryokuchi Park is a short walk just south of the station. The park itself has trails that lead through beautiful gardens, rice patties, past a bamboo forest and play area. There is so much to do. I can't see getting tired of visiting this park for a long time.
In 2024, I want to come back here.

Tokyo: Fusion of past with modern style
Tokyo is in deed a place where all sizes, shapes, colors and styles meet harmoniously as one, blended in a symmetry where one can just dazzle and creates fun. Imagination is at peak in Tokyo as you are treated to traditional Japanese architectures, shrines and design. Yet, beside the old and gold culture lies the intricate patterns of modern patches. Ready to amaze your creative and logical side.
