Wanfenglin Scenic Area

The Wanfenglin Scenic Area is located in the southeastern part of Xingyi City, Guizhou Province. It is grand and magnificent, with uniquely shaped peaks and an overall beautiful form. It is the largest and most typical karst peak forest in China. Over three hundred and sixty years ago, the famous Ming Dynasty traveler Xu Xiake once visited Wanfenglin and exclaimed, "There are so many peaks in the world, but only here do they form a forest." According to the shape of the peak forest, it is divided into five major types: arrayed peak forest, sword peak forest, dragon peak forest, arhat peak forest, and stacked hat peak forest. Each type has its own characteristics, each being independently interesting while also complementing the other types of peak forests, forming a majestic and vast landscape. The Wanfenglin Tourist Scenic Area has successively been awarded titles such as "National Key Scenic Spot" and "China's Five Most Beautiful Peak Forests".
