The Longjiang Bridge is a beam-structured stone bridge, from the stone railings and the ingeniously laid stone slabs on top, to the stone foundations and beams below, all made of stone. The bridge piers are shaped like boats, and stone beams are laid side by side on the capstones of the piers. On top of the stone beams, stone bridge planks are laid across. To the south of the bridge, two bridge-guarding towers are built, standing on each side.
