Relaxing at the West Lake Park in Fuzhou!
Fuzhou's West Lake Park is one of the most ancient parks of the city, with a history of over 1000 years!
There are several scenic spots around the lake, which makes it perfect for an afternoon stroll (even better at golden hour! 🌅)
The park has several beautiful bridges and nice rest areas, and offers the possibility of renting boats 🚣🏻

Forest Temple in Fuzhou's Countryside
Xuefengsi Temple is a green temple complex 50km west of Fuzhou city in Fujian province. It's a very old and well preserved Buddhist temple.🛕
ℹ️ The temple has three large praying halls, a small museum and is surrounded by nice trees and a holly forest. It's very calm and peaceful, because there are only villages around it and the big city is far away.
📍It's a little adventurous to visit Xuefengsi, the only convenient choice is with car. Taxi is also possible, but it won't be a cheap ride. Follow the navigation to: 雪峰崇圣禅寺 and you will arrive after one hour from Fuzhou.

A shower in Water curtain Cave - Wuyishan
Water Curtain Cave is a place that you can’t miss if you are in the city of Fuzhou This place is surrounded just with nature and fresh air. There are many trail options which are serene, peaceful, not crowded, lush green and an easy to hike. Bring your walking shoes, some snacks and underwater camera or water proof camera because definitely you will get soaking wet. June–October is the best time to visit the Mountains. It is open all year round, but visitors can best enjoy the many wonders of nature during warm, dry days. The easy walk made it even more enjoyable. You can focus on the beauty of the area without struggling to climb steps.

Going back to Zhangzhou we decided to stopped by Pingtan Island. This island is very peaceful I supposed and I was interested in there houses most of all I just find it great thinking. I suppose it is windy in that island so residents put some stones on their roofs. I think it's fascinating they different houses exterior. I think their main source of income is fishing. I can see a lot of fishing boats and of course some seafood around. It's good to know that there is a place like that in China. It's also popular for it's rock forms it's similar to Bali I would say like there are some interesting rocks where you can the water in it and splashing all over. It is good to travel by car you can stop by anywhere you like. The weather wasn't good at that time though.

A good place to have a Picnic in Fuzhou!
We travelled 3 cities in Fujian by car. It was a nice experience to see their beautiful aspects. Zhangzhou, Quanzhou and Fuzhou these places have beaches. Although they are not as nice as in Sanya but they are good enough. Since it's still cold the beaches are empty but I think in Summer it won't be as many people as in Sanya. It's a good option to go to especially for those who are into beaches and mountains. When we were in Fuzhou we decided to have a picnic so my partner searched a good place where it has a good view And yes he found one. This place is good to have a picnic. When we arrived there only one group of friends were there. I was quite happy because it's not crowded and we can mostly enjoy the place and the view. We paid 30 yuan for the parking well that's ok you can stay there as long as you want. I really like the place.

Sanfang, Qixiang, Fuzhou
This place in Fuzhou has a blend of ancient, modern amenities and traditional food within. There are a lot of shops around, articrafts and some souvenirs you can find. It's a good place to walk around and feel the culture itself. While walking, I saw a tree which is formed like a heart. A lot if people were taking pictures of it. Their is a shop that I like most where you can appreciate arts. They sculp some images or things and I just think it's amazing I mean what a great talent. I think this place is quite big to walk and at that time we were a bit tired so we just explore maybe quarter of it or maybe less. It was a nice experience.

Fuzhou, capital city of Fujian province in southeast China boasts a stunning old town known as 三坊七巷 historical and cultural street.
It is an area in downtown Fuzhou formed by a crisscross of 3 lanes and 7 alleys, there its Chinese name - 三坊 = 3 lanes, 七巷 = 7 alleys).
Getting lost through its tranquil cobblestone covered streets is a pleasure to wind down from the city stress; and for those looking for the instagrammable photo-opportunity head to the heart-shaped tree or grab a bite at what must be China’s most picturesque McDonalds. #fuzhou #urbanexplorer #citylife #historicbuilding
