From Seoul, you can take the ITX train from Yongsan station to Gapyeong station, thereafter hop on a shuttle bus or a taxi to the ferry terminal. We went on a weekday but it was still crowded, with many foreigners and tourists groups. Instead of taking photos at the crowded places, my friend and I opted to walk in even further and we found good photo spots!
