Korean Seoul Atmosphere Creative Cuisine Restaurant - 5412
5412 is located in Hannam-dong, Seoul. The restaurant's decor is stylish and modern, with a clean and neat design that makes people feel comfortable. Plus, the ambiance is dim, which really sets the mood. 😚
We made a reservation online in advance and were seated at the bar counter, where we could watch the food being prepared, which was quite interesting. 🤣
🤍5412 한우육회김밥 (₩18,000)
The restaurant's signature dish - raw beef gimbap✨ The gimbap contains ingredients like cucumber and pickled radish, and then it's topped with a generous amount of raw beef, making it look first-rate. 🤤 This combination is very special and matches well. 😍 The raw beef is tender and chewy. 👍🏻 A dish with a rich texture. 😚
🤍전북 순창 돌미나리 새우전 (₩22,000)
Water celery shrimp pancake✨ The shrimp are large and plump, the water celery is very fragrant, and the pancake is fried to a crispy and delicious taste. 🤩 Eating it with a sauce that has a hint of yuzu flavor makes it even more delicious. 🤤
And of course, pancakes should be paired with rice wine. 😛 So we ordered a bottle of 복순도가 손 막걸리(₩29,000), an easy-to-drink choice. ✌🏻

All the best cafes to visit in Seoul
Not sure which cafes you should visit when in Seoul? Here is a round-up of some of my favourites - with the best interiors, sweetest desserts, and above all, top-tier vibes.
1 & 2: Cafe Onion Anguk
Where else can you enjoy sweet treats in a traditional hanok-style building? This is possibly one of the most famous cafe in Seoul, and for good reason: the vibes are unmatched! You get to take off your shoes, sit in a little patio, and enjoy fresh bakes. Pandoro is a signature, but the fruit-stuffed crossiant is a clear winner - with juicy sweetness in every bite. Pro tip: Come towards dinner time (around 4-5pm) to skip the crowd!
3 & 4: Cafe Margaret
Floral-themed cafe in Yeonnam-dong. This place has plenty of Instagrammable backdrops all around. The garden has a fountain and plenty of colourful blooms, while the second floor has an outdoor balcony that overlooks the street (might even spot some cherry blossom). Do note that the cube croissant is only available in the late morning, and there is a minimum order of one drink per person if you choose to dine in.
5 & 6: Oats Coffee
Hands down the best drink you will have!!! The einspanner is a must-get, with sweet foam that is fluffy like clouds! Super fragrant and addictive! The menu is also rather concise; bakes comprise mostly of scones, but they are done well. The chives cream cheese is a savoury option that complements the coffee well. Plus the cafe is located in a quaint little house - super adorable!
7 & 8: Cafe Highwaist
Apparently Jennie from Blackpink and BTS’ Jungkook got their birthday cakes from this cafe!! And can you blame them? The bakes are so friggin cute: topped with shapes of teddy bear and dogs and cats. The whole placed exuded a strong cottage-core aesthetic - really nice place to sit down and people-watch.
9 & 10: Cheongsudang Cafe
What a zen atmosphere you’ll find here! This cafe is basically surrounded by a garden, with moving water and lush greenery - step inside and you will feel at ease. Inside, there are tables and hanok-style seatings to choose from. And their cakes are sweet and should be shared! And their soufflé cake is freshly made upon order, so expect a waiting time of around 20 minutes.
11 & 12: Soha Salt Pond
If there is one thing that you need to get from this cafe, let it be the salt bread. It is soooo good, especially when they come out fresh from the oven. The salt flakes on the bread add an addictive crunch! They also have a lot of other variants, like mentaiko or chives. Bonus: the cafe overlooks a cute little salt pond.

Unique, minimalist rain-themed cafe in Seoul
Now this is a rain shower you’d want to be caught in; Rain Report is a famous cafe that is uniquely themed after the weather. Like its name suggests, it is always raining at the cafe - whether it is a heavy downpour, or a gentle drizzle. 🌧️
The vibes
Plenty of seats at the Seongsu branch (they have another outlet in Itaewon). The first floor seats include chairs that overlook a towering indoor garden. And the cafe is adjacent to a pond-like garden - super calming and serene.
The food
Rain Report focuses on croissants - many many different versions of it. The buttery pastries comes in all shapes and sizes, from a unique cube to cutesy bow-tie. Many flavours to choose from as well, with pistachio and chocolate and many others. There is even a row of toaster at the back for you to warm up your pastries for maximum enjoyment!
The drinks
Coffee is mainly served here; they have special flavours that you don’t see elsewhere too. Black pepper latter was something we tried and really enjoyed. Or try the black lemonade to match the minimalist vibes of the interior.
Overall
Rain Report is definitely worth a visit - with its unique concept and decent pastries! A good place to rest your legs after roaming the streets of Seongsu.

LEGOLAND Korea Resort Chuncheon 🇰🇷
#koreatrip
I went to Lego Park before the holiday, the experience was so great! Very few people
We took the 🚇subway from Hongda to Qingliangli Station, and then took the train to Spring
Chuan Station, (pay attention to the time of the morning bus take a bus from Lego Park after arriving in Chunchuan (many people have sent schedules, so I won't send them).
📍Chunchuan Station is very close to Lego Park, and even if you don't want to take a bus, it can be reached within 10 minutes by taxi 🚕 , about 6000 Korean won. When we went, maybe due to weather conditions, some projects were closed, such as fire trucks and Trojans, but we played pirate ships and roller coasters 4 times, haha
Especially suitable for children, although it's not big, you can still buy a LEGO backpack if you have a great time playing~

🌸 Ultimate cherry blossoms guide in Seoul 🌸
Hopefully this post can convince you to visit Seoul to catch some cherry blossoms - you get to visit cute cafes (some even overlook the flowers), indulge in some retail therapy, and maybe even catch a glimpse of your favourite Kpop idol!
Here is a guide to the best spots to catch the cherry blossom, and capture your next Instagram display photo!
1. Gangchon Rail Park (4/5)
This scenic bike ride brings you across an overwater bridge, winding through barren trees, and this gorgeous line of pink cherry blossoms! A super scenic and romantic activity that you cannot miss!
2. Eden Cherry Blossom Road (6/5)
Located away from the main city, this road of cherry blossom tree doesn’t come with the usual crowds. You get plenty of space to stroll and admire the flowers, and take pictures. Will recommend booking this as part of a day tour to Nami Island if possible.
3. Nami Island (4/5)
Pro tip: Visit the island in the morning, before lunch if possible. At around 10am, you are among the first visitor of Nami Island - you will basically have the entire place to yourself to roam (like a private island!) and snap cherry blossoms pictures without anyone in it! When we left around 12noon the crowd really started to come in and the quiet atmosphere was gone.
4. Seokchon Lake (3/5)
The ring of cherry blossom looks beautiful from the top, but this place is PACKED during the weekends. You will basically be knocking shoulders with the public, but those visiting Lotte World should definitely check this lake out, since they are located in the same area.
5. Garden just off Hongjecheon Waterfall (10/5)
Just off the main centre of Hongdae is this serene man-made waterfall. Follow the dirt path, past running waters, and you will find this wonderful hill where tulips and cherry blossoms co-exist! We spotted mostly locals there - a great little hidden find that you won’t see in most cherry blossom guides!
6. Yeonnam-dong (3/5)
Make plans to visit this hip area for its numerous cute cafes, then stay to check out this line of cherry blossoms! Cafes like Margaret even has a balcony that overlooks the pink tree - great vibes while sipping on a cup of coffee.
7. Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival (4/5)
Probably the most famous viewing spot in Seoul - and it shows. The amount of people here is insane, but it also has the highest concentration of pink trees (in my opinion). After admiring the flowers, you can also pop by the Han River located just next to it and enjoy a bowl of cup noodles. Or sit and take in the city skyline.
8. Gyeongbokgung Palace (2/5)
You might probably be already visiting this must-see attraction in Seoul. And deep within the palatial ground lies a small line of cherry blossom; not the most impressive, but still worth checking out when you are dressed up in hanbok - makes for a perfect photo!

Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival
#cherryblossom2024
During my visit to the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival, I was mesmerized by the sheer beauty of the cherry blossoms lining the streets. Walking along the Han River, I was surrounded by a sea of pink and white petals, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.
As I wandered through the festival grounds, I couldn't help but immerse myself in the vibrant energy and excitement. Street vendors offered delicious snacks and drinks, while performers entertained the crowds with traditional music and dance.
One of the highlights of my experience was joining a guided tour of the festival, where I learned about the significance of cherry blossoms in Korean culture and history. It was a fascinating insight into the deeper meaning behind this annual celebration.
Overall, my visit to the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival was a memorable and enchanting experience. It was a time of joy, beauty, and celebration, and one that I will always cherish.

Location: You can take subway and stop at the Olympic Park station.
Highlights: The Olympic Park in Seoul is a beautiful large park with many different areas and landscapes including manicured to matured wild forests, water streams and cultural buildings like museums, skating areas, etc.
The monuments and sculptures are beautiful, impressive and nostalgic. This park is less popular than Seoul Forest Park. I love the huge compound. There is a famous ginkgo street along Olympic Park too.
It's really a nice place to hang out on early summer afternoon. There are not many tourists but a lot of locals exercising and relaxing around the area who are cool to interact with.

Discover Cherry Blossoms at Seokchon Lake 🌸
After visiting Lotte World to enjoy the rides, I unwind at Seokchon Lake. It is a picturesque lake located in Seoul, there are a whole stretch of cherry blossoms! They have an annual festival where you can admire the cherry blossoms at night with lights.
The park mainly consists of walking trails, cherry blossoms and benches. The park is long and thin, in an "8"-shape surrounding the 2 parts of Seokchon lake. There are many locals who are taking a stroll or jogging there.
There are also many paths leading outwards to the general city area, so it is convenient to enter and exit.

37, Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu Seoul, South Korea
Nestled amidst the bustling cityscape of Seoul, Bukchon Hanok Village is a tranquil oasis that beckons visitors to step back in time and immerse themselves in the charm of traditional Korean culture. From the moment I set foot on its cobblestone pathways, I was captivated by the village's timeless beauty and quaint allure.
Wandering through the narrow alleyways lined with well-preserved hanok (traditional Korean houses), I felt as though I had been transported to a bygone era. Each hanok exuded its own unique character, with elegant tiled roofs, graceful eaves, and intricate wooden lattice work, whispering tales of generations past.

Unforgettable retail experience
#winhkflight
I am consistently astounded by Ader Error's innovative and unconventional displays, which truly set them apart. Their retail environment is nothing short of extraordinary, immersing customers in a unique and unforgettable experience. The fixtures they incorporate are not just functional but works of art that I would love to have in my own home. However, the higher price point is a drawback, deterring some from fully indulging in their offerings. Despite this, I couldn't resist picking up a tee along with some quirky novelties like the mouse pad and airpod cases, each item a testament to their unparalleled creativity and design prowess.
I am excited about visiting Hong Kong for its culinary treasures, where a plethora of dining options awaits, from traditional dim sum to a wide array of international cuisines.

I want to visit HK to enjoy their wonderful attraction and night
coffee coffee 💓
If you are a coffee person, you must visit South Korea. There are many incredible coffee shops everywhere!!! One of my fav ones is called “One in a Million”, it’s located in one of the best areas of Soul. I highly suggest you to order waffles with ice cream on the top and obviously a cup of coffee ☕️💓💓💖. Enjoy 😉.
