#europetrip Today, a fisherman's castle (Hal, Szb, Stya) is a New Gothic and New Romanesque style observation deck located in the capital Budapest, Hungary. It is situated on the side of a castle mountain by the Danube River, adjacent to the Magash Church. It was built between 1895 and 1902 by Frigyes Schulek. During the Second World War, the Fisherman's Fortress was on the verge of destruction. Between 1947 and 1948, Ashish Shulke, the son of Roger Shulke, owed repair work.
