Cathedral de Mallorca Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Cathedral Museum
#bucketlistreboot
It is located at Placa de La Seu, s/n 09001 Palma. It is a 230 metres 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. Open Monday to Friday from 1000-1700, Saturday from 1000-1415, closed on Sunday.
The museum is located on the ground floor of the Cathedral and occupies the two chapter rooms; the Gothic room built in the 14th century and the Baroque room, which dates back to the 18th century.
A collection of Gothic sculptures, paintings and silver smithery as well as Baroque sculptures and silver smithery are very nice and you should not give it a miss.
The cathedral museum is on the left hand side just after you have entered from the ticket office.
Mallorca’s jewel 🤎
The cathedral of Mallorca is one of the emblematic monuments in Spain. The gothic church is located in Palma. You can book a tour, there are different languages to choose and prices, or just explore it by your own. I recommend you to go to the rooftop, the views are super beautiful!

This quaint seaside town is both alluring and traditional in the best way. The small cobblestone streets are full of delicious tapas restaurants, cozy pubs, and plenty of places to pick up Spanish memorabilia to bring home. We loved the welcoming ambiance at each venue, live music heard throughout the streets, and the vibrant Mercat de L'Olivar food market. The Catedral-Basilica de Santa Maria de Mallorca is perfect for a sunny day of sightseeing and there is even an on site playground to please your children. Palma de Mallorca is an ideal walking town where you'll discover beautiful architecture and irresistible Spanish charm throughout every street. Make sure to have plenty of shellfish, delicious ham and local wines and olive oils for a true treat. A great city for couples or families looking to experience a relaxed side of Spanish culture.
A city of culture, leisure and beaches.
During my visit to Palma de Mallorca, I was enchanted by the captivating blend of history and modernity. The imposing Santa María cathedral, dating back to the 13th century, commands attention with its Gothic architecture, overlooking the serene Bay of Palma. Adjacent to it stands the Almudaina, once a formidable Moorish fortress, now transformed into a regal residence, echoing centuries of Spanish heritage.
Venturing westward, Bellver Castle crowns the cityscape, its circular silhouette a testament to medieval engineering prowess. Exploring the narrow streets, vibrant markets, and scenic waterfront promenades, Palma revealed itself as a dynamic resort city, inviting visitors to delve into its rich tapestry of culture and leisure, leaving an indelible impression of Mallorcan charm.

Palma De Mallorca Airport Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Buses travel to the Airport
#bucketlistreboot
I am staying at the resort at Can Pastilla, The taxi fare from the airport to my resort is Eur 15, so when flying back I decided to try the airport bus.
Just outside my hotel around 50 meters walk, the bus A2 comes every 20 minutes, the price is standard Eur 5, and takes 7 minutes to arrive at the departure hall.
My flight is Ryan air, you have to check in online, for the baggage at the counter. There are many counters to handle the baggage check in, so it is fast.
Immigration security clearance is also fast, so i was inside the airport for 3 hours.
For solo traveller like me, you need to find ways to cut your costs, like transport.
Palma-de-Mallorca
Flew with Ryanair company. The flight was normal, only a harsh landing. I really liked it on the island, very cool architecture, delicious food, sun, sea. Recommend to visit! #palmademallorca

Formentera Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Beautiful Turquoise Ocean
#celebratewithtrip
The smallest of Spain’s Balearic Islands, Formentera is a must-visit when exploring the Mediterranean. Formentera is so small, there is no airport, so arriving by boat is the only way you can access this pretty little island.
There is a regular ferry depart from Ibiza going to Formentera.
What is Formentera well know for is it turquoise sea , you have to be here to experience it .The Beach also less crowded then the main Beach over at Ibiza .Sea water temperature is just right to cool down the heat form the summer sun .
One thing to take note there is not shower or washroom around. but nevertheless it still worth the trip to go
