Hotels With WiFi in Eastern Province, Sri Lanka

Fantastic location.  The swimmable beach is 100m to left of the hotel.  Very quiet and peaceful.  Beach has shade  so you are not in the sun 100%. Good staff interaction.  Rooms are big, most have some sea view.   Food is on par for Sri Lanka, primarily local cuisine, a bit pricey for the quality though. Overall, recommended.

Welcome to Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. Nice hotel with great swimming pool. Hotel is close to the beach, you can walk there very fast. Service was good, friendly and kind staff with great English language skills. My friend and she's family really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Swimming pool, also to childrens pool was very nice size and well maintained, very clean water and surrounding.

Very clean and next to sea hotel. Service at restaurant can be improved, waiters are plenty but no one sees that guest request are fulfilled they merely become messenger pass the request to another in the end no one has the responsibility.

Beautifully located right by the sea. If you don't like sandy feet, this isn't the place for you, as the entire courtyard and pool area are covered in fine white sand. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are functional and clean. The bathroom is very spacious, with a large shower, double vanity, and a bathtub. The breakfast and lunch buffets are delicious, with everything your heart could desire. Would definitely come back anytime!

Like Trincomalee, this homestay is a bit difficult to find, there are few rooms, and it is still under construction, but the room is large, facing the sea, very quiet, very suitable for a daze. I am very diligent and change different venues every day to set up meals. I like this fish steak and pasta

Хороший отель!!! Мы провели в нём 7 ночей Хозяева ооочень гостеприимные и отзывчивые, готовили для нас большие креветки и возили на Мраморный пляж, разумеется за отдельную плату. Завтраки были не очень разнообразными, но большими и сытными) Наёмный рабочий, высокий молодой человек очень помогал нам с малышом, играл с ним, пока мы кушали) ребёнок сам просился к нему на ручки)) Девушки, которые готовили нам завтрак , тоже были очень милыми и добрыми. Наш номер был на третем этаже и в нашем распоряжении была целая веранда- это было очень удобно- поиграть с ребёнком, развесить мокрую одежду, посмотреть на звёзды или попить утренний кофе, муж курил. Расположение тоже хорошее- третий дом от пляжа) Пляж довольно чистый, гораздо более чистый, чем в туристическом районе уппувелли. Рядом много лавок с фруктами и кафе, где едят местные- не так инстаграмно, как в туристических ресторанах, но тоже вкусно и в 3 раза дешевле Из минусов -в номере негде разложить или повесить одежду-ни шкафа, ни крючков, ни чего то, куда можно повесить плечики-у нас была гора в чемодане и вокруг. Много одежды вешали на веранде - у забора всегда была стая местных бездомных собак, они безвредные , но шумные - горячей воды нет. Пока было пасмурно мыться было не комфортно, потом стало нормально) -WiFi работает плохо, на веранде ловил лучше -телевизора нет, он конечно и не был заявлен , но оказалось скучно без него пережидать полуденный солнцепёк Вряд ли мы вернёмся сюда снова из-за большого разнообразия отелей , но для не очень притязательный туристов место очень даже подойдёт )

Siamo stati qui due notti, la famiglia è molto disponibile e cordiale. Abbiamo anche fatto qui colazione, hanno un salone comune al piano terra dove ad ogni camera/gruppo viene servita. Le stanze sono in buono stato ma sulla pulizia si può fare di meglio, soprattutto nel bagno.

Excellent hotel. Stilt, clean, well equipped room. There are all necessary: refrigerator, tea, coffee, teapot, fan. Daily cleaning in the room, regular change of towels and bed linen. Apart from you, thank you for the excellent service to the guys who carried out cleaning in our room Jerom and Kajanthiran. Hotels have a beautiful area with a chic pool. There is a gym and play area, bar. Excellent clean beach. The beach is cleaned every day. Good lying with soft mattresses and beach towels are always available. The polite staff at the beach and at the beach bar. Breakfast is wide, there are dishes for any taste. National and European cuisine. A huge amount of baking, waffles are prepared as you wish. Always fresh seasonal fruit. Dinner is also diverse, there are both basic and ”day dishes.” These can be seafood on grill, pork, calmar in fry. Different national dishes such as roti or cat. Special thanks to Sudesh and Kalum waiters, they were very attentive and friendly. At dinner drinks, water, other drinks on the menu (as in all other hotels). The hotel tries to diversify each dinner by inviting different artists to create a cozy atmosphere. I recommend this hotel for a rest. If possible, choose it again!

There were so many things, but overall, all the staff were very hardworking, kind and good people! First of all, it seems that the reservation for 4 nights that I had made on Trip.com was not made at the time of check-in. There are many staff members, but there are only about two staff members who can communicate in English without any problems, and it was difficult to find them every time lol. I was hurriedly guided to my room, but I couldn't find the air conditioner remote control, and a staff member just brought me a towel (probably the room was hastily provided, so it was not fully prepared?) When I asked for the remote control at that time, they brought it to me relatively quickly. The wi-fi password was handwritten on the phone, but it was faded and I couldn't read it, so I looked for a staff member again and asked lol. I thought there would be hot water, but it was room temperature (it was a little cold at first, but if you try hard to take a shower, it feels like it's getting warmer for some reason, but it was exactly the same temperature lol) and the water pressure was quite weak. I asked the staff, but it seems that the temperature probably can't be changed. I asked them for at least the water pressure, and it improved a little. However, the water pressure was weak again the next night, so I asked them to adjust the water pressure every day for four days before taking a shower. When the staff came to check the water pressure, they stood on the bath mat with their shoes on, and the bath mat turned black because the shoes were wet with water... This happened two days in a row, so we told them that the water pressure had improved and it was okay to check it. It may be a cultural difference, but I guess they don't care about guests' bath mats turning black. The laundry service, free bicycle rental, and currency exchange that were listed on Trip.com (same as ***********) were not available lol The location is nice, right in front of the sea. It's a 10-20 minute walk to the town, but I was so scared of the stray dogs at night (they sleep and relax during the day, but are super active at night...) that I had to use a tuk-tuk every time. The hotel itself is not bad, but the shower was the only thing that bothered me. There were also frequent power outages every day. (It wasn't particularly difficult, but it sometimes took several hours lol) The staff were all really trying to solve the problem and listen to our requests. They were very calm and friendly, and always had a shy smile lol However, their English was quite weak, so it was necessary to be patient and communicate.
