The friendly Manager/Owner are very helpful and prompt to guest needs. In fact took the onus of driving us down the hill to buy personal stuff. The location of the hotel is somewhat off the busy locality downhill. So if you prefer tranquillity this is a good choice. If you are concerned on the availability of daily needs then there is a small convenience store with the hotel, but with limited choices. But the owner is very responsible to organize the same for you. The lovely lady manager of the canteen made sure to wait for us before winding off the breakfast and dinner. In fact the meals were customized as per request. The taste had the flavor of home cooked meals. The hotel has some scope of improvement in terms of regular check on maintenance and house keeping. General cleanliness in the complex is good with possible improvement within the accommodation building, perhaps the corridors can use some decoration with colorful potted plants. I am sure the hotel will attract more foreigners to enjoy the ambience around if they keep in mind on improving the scopes mentioned. A point to note is it’s proximity to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park entrance. Very much recommendable for families.
