The tatami room was clean and spacious. Walls are a bit thin. I could actually hear sound from next door or people walking around the hallway. The futon mattress was quite thin and the pillow too hard for me. Also, I found that the filters of humidifier were so dirty that I washed them myself.
Toilets are shared by all guests but only one is for female (two for male). When I brushed my teeth and washed my face, I had to let the water run for a long time before hot water came out.
¥150 of hot spring tax was collected upon check-in, of which I was not informed in advance.
For room that we get can look out and see the nice view. This hotel they have public Onsen service. Check in time at 3:00pm and Check out at 10:00am
The hotel not far from Lake Kirin and walking streets within walking distance

It is an appropriately good location for sightseeing to Kirinko Lake. Recommended if you like to walk.
They responded kindly, and I was able to spend comfortably.

Very Good

It took us a while to find the Minshuku as there were no English signage. Luckily we asked us a passerby who pointed us in the right direction. The tatami room was enough for our family of 4 with an 8yo and 11yo. The communal sink was right outside our room and the shared toilets were right around the corner. We liked their small bath house too around the the back of the main building. We were very kindly greeted and shown our room. They most spoke Japanese but we managed to get by using translator apps. Ample parking and we were allowed to park for a while after checking out so we could walk around the small town. They also returned my daughter's bolster and purse which she accidentally left behind. The location of the minshuku is very good - just a few hundred meters from Kinrin lake and the tourist spots nearby.
