Hotels with Pools in Xi＇an

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for three nights. We booked a standard room which was very affordable, and the hotel is located in the city centre, great location! There is a subway station just right next to the hotel so that’s very convenient as traffic in Xi’an is terrible! Upon check-in, a member of staff helped us and he was very friendly, he spoke English very well and that was helpful for us. Apparently the room that booked isn’t available so they upgraded us to a suite which was sweet! The room was humongous! It was very fancy, however I think the hotel is quite old, and some interior needs changing. We had a massive bed, maybe a California king bed? Very comfy bed! We had afternoon tea for two and a happy hour in the evening. (Not our favourite but it was a good deal). The gym was good too, they have some basic equipment and we were happy with it. The swimming pool was full of children so we didn’t use it, as we wanted peace and quiet. This is the most exciting part! On our final night, we got back quite late from exploring Xi’an and when we entered our room, it was pretty dark. No electricity. 🤣 I was super exhausted and I wanted to have a bath and just relax. But no can do. We had to go downstairs and update staff about the situation. We were told to wait downstairs, they gave us some water and we sat for about 15 minutes or so. And then a staff came to see us with a new set of key cards. She apologized to us for the inconvenience, like many times! We told her it wasn’t their fault but I think they really need some renovation haha (I didn’t say that to her), so she said we will be moved to a different room, from 20th floor to 28th floor. It sounded like we just got upgraded again! Haha. So we headed up to our new room, I opened the doors and wow! It was a 2-floor suite! It was amazing! I wanted to live in it haha. We were very exhausted and tired but it was a very sweet experience to have! My favourite was the bathroom as we had double sinks! (Yup that’s my thing) Overall, our stay in this hotel has been amazing. (Apart from the electricity problem) We liked the staff best, they were very helpful and kind to us. Everyone who worked in this hotel has been superb! And lastly, the manager gave us 20% discount as a compensation for the electricity incident. I would recommend this hotel to others due to its great location and incredibly helpful staff.

An amazing hotel situated in a great location. The staff were incredible, in particular Jack and Andy, they couldn’t help me any more than they did.. Due to flight delays I was given a free 4pm check out, free upgrade on arrival and the breakfast was amazing, loved this place!

This stay was a great experience. It was great value. The hotel lobby was so grand. The room was also very comfortable. The breakfast was great value. It was better than the breakfast in other five-star hotels. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Xi'an.

When we check in, my wife and me were very pleased with the utmost courtesy and speedy check in we received from the front office manager, Miss Kitty Shang whose professionalism is without doubt. She went the extra length in finding my Hilton Honors membership. We will happy with the cleanliness and housekeeping service throughout our stay. We were more impressed even when she extended the kind assistance during our checkout and giving tips and advice on our next visit. We received a well packed chocolate Terracota warrior which make our day more than happy to stay at this Hilton hotel at 199 Dongxin street, Xian. As we are visiting xi’an again, we will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you Miss Kitty Shang, you make my stay pleasant and happy throughout with your service.

This is a highly luxurious and comfortable Western style hotel just steps away from the Great Goose pagoda (Dayanta) and all the action on the temple square rises next to the hotel. Lots of light, excitement, and Chinese people in traditional dress. A huge upscale shopping mall (Joy City) has endless restaurants on the 3rd and 4th floors and snacks in the underground level. The subway stop near Dayanta is about a fifteen-minute easy walk from the hotel, connecting you to most sites within Xi’an (not the terracotta warriors).

The first impression of Datang Xishi Hotel was that I entered a palace. The front desk service attitude was warm and thoughtful, and they upgraded our room directly. Because the children are allergic, they kept sneezing in the room🤧. I booked a room for a few days and reported this to the front desk. At that time, I was also shown a suite in the same building. I still felt a little worried and was still considering changing hotels. I had called to confirm that there was a room. After lunch, I went to the front desk again to ask. There were several service staff. Everyone was very enthusiastic. Song Dandan impressed me. First of all, she made me feel very kind, listened to my needs patiently, and made timely adjustments. My grandmother and two Australian children liked the current room very much. I will come again next time. Service: The staff of the entire hotel were all smiling, and the three things they were most satisfied with were: 1. Song Dandan's excellent service. 2. The housekeeping department took my mother to patiently find the medicine box, and the front desk manager knew and apologized when I checked out. 3. I ordered takeout in the evening and it was delivered to my room.

I loved this hotel, spacious rooms with great working air conditioning. They clean the rooms everyday. The staff are friendly. The hotel is majestic and well decorated. The hotels breakfast is wonderful with a great selection to choose from. A very convenient location and close to a metro station. At the end of my stay I wanted to stay longer for two reasons. The hotel was so comfortable and the Xi'an food is so delicious. I would definitely recommend.

The Hotel enjoys an excellent location and even better staff, a book I forgot in the room, surprisingly received from express delivery when I was in another city the next day!! Responsible and reliable staff.

This was our first experience at a luxury hotel and our expectations were exceeded! Our driver, 张胜利, was our favorite! His personality and how he says “mei wenti” is a joke we tell even now we’ve moved on to another city. The hotel was modern and artistic with technology surpassing our expectations. The service during breakfast, dinner and in room dining was sooo good and the food was Michelin star. I am thinking of creating a blog about my experience. I honestly can go on and on but I recommend this hotel 1 thousand times. I will definitely stay again.

Special mention to the Housekeeper Jing Jing who is very friendly and gave good advise on the tickets to Museum of the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang and helped to arrange for the Everlasting Sorrows Show. She managed to find me discounted tickets. She also send us off after checkout and gave some souvenirs. Hotel Breakfast is sumptuous with a lot of variety. The check in process could be better and they only changed the room type but not the bed type though I booked wrongly on Trip. Hot Springs was a little disappointing, only single entry even though I bought the package and the pools are not really unique. Nonetheless still a very pleasant stay!
